The Jeans Sex Appeal Even in Your 50's
For many women, it is frustrating not to be able to find at least a pair that perfectly fits. Majority ends up buying jeans that are of a stretch-like material so they fit all of their curves without having anything hanging or sticking out.
Let Me Inspire You
I'm head over heels impressed with women in their 50's or even older who still hold great appeal when wearing jeans. Since older women are always apologizing for not looking good anymore, a little inspiration on how to help them feel better about themselves when in jeans might be interesting.
Middle-aged women can still look appealing. They simply have to try on something that's actually designed for their bodies. If you think it doesn't fit try another one. Anything that fits well is fine, especially if you have the figure, but don't confuse well-fitting with super-tight, or good-fitting with tight-fitting. If they are obviously tight, it may start to look like you are trying to be your own daughter. Remember that at 50, it should look like you know better.
It may take a lot of time to find the right pair, but finding your BEST FIT is your key to help you look like a million bucks in your jeans 50 or otherwise! Transformation can be easy if you work on it.
It's not the age of the woman, it's the cut of the jeans.
If you're the mom who has complied to the "jeans with a really high waist and peg legs", then you definitely won't look good. Even a decent 20 or 30 year old butt will look disastrous in those. Some women older than 50 still look really cool in their snug jeans.
Jeans with the Perfect Fit
Wear jeans that fit your body shape. You must understand that your jeans have to fit in the rise before they fit anywhere else, which is the crotch. This will give your legs and butt a sexy defined shape that will flatter your figure. Fitting the largest part of you first and then tailor down from there, is your best tip.
If you’re the curvy middle-aged, pick the jeans with a small waist that comes down larger through the rear and hips to accommodate that booty. Some women this age find a boot-cut very convenient. They fit the hip better and the slight flare at the bottom gives a great balance, so they look good!
Wear Jeans with Heels
Wearing high heels with your jeans can be head turning. Heels make your legs look longer and long legs are sexy. I think a semi-booted jeans paired with a traditionally-sleeked heel, or a 3-inch heel with a mini platform, gracefully fits middle-aged women.
Why not wear heels in such a way that the jeans fall just below the arch of your foot, or just enough to hide your ankle and some of the top part of the foot, leaving your heel and toes only showing. Trust me, it is sexy, even in a distance.
Don't go for too strappy sandals. I too don't find it suitable for older women. Two to three small straps crossing the foot is enough and will not completely cover the exposed part of your foot. This is best during summer so you can show off those beautiful feet!
Consider a Good Length
Aside from the "just below the arch of your foot" length, experts also suggest on semi-flary jeans an inch off the ground. The wider hems draping over the shoes is most suitable for matured women as a lot of them like their foot being covered.
The whole thing will be pointed to the wide and semi-flared jeans creating a "long-legged" look with only an inch of the shoe showing. Many consider this length as the style length that works well with jeans regardless of age.
If you have large hip, it follows the size of your booty and thighs as well, so you may need to tailor in the waist. To hide those fats on the hips that you hate it when it spills over the top of your jeans, wear a woven shirt or something loose on the top to glide in the area rather than stick to it. An ordinary shirt would not help as the hem can be smooching a lot up as you move around.
Tip for Large-Waisted Women
So your only option is to buy men's jeans to cater the large waist whether or not the crotch fits right. Why not find a clothing industry or a special seamstress to cater for those special curves? This is a privilege that says no size of the hips, butt or legs can hinder how a woman can look cool and appealing in jeans. There are seamstresses everywhere!
I think three pairs claim to cover all shape, will make you happy.
You actually don't have to spend large amount of money for designer jeans. If you can't afford one, there are lower priced brands that offer good fit and color. All you need to do is go try them on for a nice fit. It doesn't mean they're cheap that they can't fit well.
The Jag Jeans Appeal
My first jeans many many years ago was made by Jag... until today I still prefer Jag jeans. I'm continually amazed how this designer jeans perfectly fit just about every size and every woman. They are really stylish, and with a bit of stretch throughout the leg and in the waistband, they are great for all ages from teens, to young moms, older Moms and middle-aged women.
With a perfect fit such as Jag's anytime, I think a bit high price tag is pretty reasonable. I've always loved Jag jeans, but I don't buy all Jag, it's expensive!
