The care for your skin is something very important and desirable .The more you care for your self, the more refreshing you appear and receive a great amount of appreciation from others. In winters the significance of the skin care increases as winter being a dry month really leaves skin stretchy, moisture less, and darkens it as well. Our hands and feet are the ones which feel a bit more of this winter effect. Below are some very basic easy to make home made organic hand cream and lotions which if used can have a very softening effect on your skin leaving it extra smooth and supple.

EGG AND ALMOND OIL LOTION:

You will need

1 EGG

2 TABLE SPOONS OF ALMOND OIL

1 TABLESPOON OF ROSE WATER

METHOD:

Mix all the ingredients well and apply on your hands for very smooth and soft hands.

MILK LOTION:

You will need

2 CUPS OF SLIGHT WARM MILK

1 TEA SPOON OF SALT

METHOD:

In an open deep bowl or something in which you can dip your hands, pour the milk and add salt to it. Dip your hands in the mixture and massage especially your fingers, knuckles and wrists. This milk lotion is really good for dull hand skin, a good cleanser and also gives your hands a glowing soft look.

ROSE WATER HAND LOTION:

You will need

2/3 CUP OF ROSE WATER

1/3 CUP OF GLYCERINE

1 TABLE SPOON OF LEMON JUICE

METHOD:

Mix all the ingredients in a bottle and place the bottle in a dry and cool place. Use it as many times as you can on your hands. It will help soften your hands and improves the skin texture as well. This lotion is best for extra dry hands in winter season especially.

YOGURT LOTION

You will need

1 CUP PLAIN YOGURT

FEW DROPS OF LEMON OIL OR LEMON JUICE

METHOD:

Mix both ingredients well and massage your hands for ten minutes with the mixture. Wash afterwards .This lotion works best to remove tan and gives you a clearer skin tone. It also softens your skin and repairs the extra dry, damaged skin texture.

ORANGE JUICE AND HONEY LOTION:

You will need

HALF CUP ORANGE JUICE

1 TABLESPOON OF HONEY

METHOD:

Mix both ingredients well. Apply to your hands, especially your nails. Leave it on for 10 minutes and wash afterwards. This lotion brings shine to extra dull nails, heals cracked skin due to dryness and leaves your hands smooth and soft.

THE CREAM LOTION

BANANA AND HONEY CREAM LOTION :

You will need

1 BANANA

1 TEA SPOON OF HONEY

FEW DROPS OF LEMON JUICE

1 TABLE SPOON OF BUTTER

METHOD:

Blend all the ingredients well till they take a shape of fine cream like paste. Massage on your hands. If possible keep on your hands for two hours otherwise wash it after 15 to 20 minutes. This cream really softens your skin and leaves your hands extra smooth.

Ignoring your skin is never a good idea. One must follow a regular skin care routine in order to prevent any damage with dryness. Who doesn't like to feel good with an extra fresh looking, smooth skin free from any wrinkles and dryness? So if you want to self groom well then pay extra attention to your skin especially in winters, using the hand lotions and creams mentioned above. They will prove to be of great help in this regard.

These are very interesting. I'm always looking for some non-chemical solutions (and regular lotions are full of chemicals) - I'll try to give some of these a try! Thanks
