Grab some pantyhose or a pillowcase and put a cup or two of oatmeal inside. I then drop the pantyhose or pillowcase into the bath and move it around a little until a milky liquid comes out. I then add 3 to 4 of lavender and neem oil and sometimes tea tree oil if I'm concerned about infection for a soothing calming itch removing remedy. Works a treat for itchy, irritated skin.

Alternatively do this on a smaller scale and add ground oatmeal to an acne mask to soothe red inflamed skin. Oatmeal is also very moisturizing for dry skins.

Parsley

Use fresh chopped parsley in masks of parsley oil for acne and red veins.

Papaya (And Pineapple) For Acne Remedies

Papayas are a fruit loaded with antioxidants, vitamin C as well as papain enzymes that dissolve dead skin cells and sebum in pores. These enzymes also stimulate new cell growth, these elements help the repair and regeneration process of skin. They help slow the ageing process of skin when applied fresh to your face or as essential oil added to serums. Fresh papaya pulp, juice or the essential oil may be used by adding it to acne masks and acne scar recipes. Pineapples contain bromelain which is a similar enzyme. Strawberries For Acne Remedies

High in acne fighting salicylic acid (cleans pores and inhibits acne bacteria) and other fruit acids, strawberries are great on their own rubbed on skin, combined with mashed tomato (another source of salicylic acid) or added to an acne mask.

Tea Tree (Melaleuca) Essential Oil
