My daughter got thick and long hair with the simple home remedies.

The problem of hair loss and thin hair is very common among the people of all ages. Mostly the hair growth of the scalp stops after generally reaching a length of 2-3 feet due to de-vitalization of follicles. Exceptions of unusual length of hair growth appear in hair development abnormalities.

Hair loss occurs both in men and women and in normal hair growth cycle everyone sheds about 100 hairs each day, but the excess of it is a distressing development. In women the hair loss occurs on the top of the head or temples while men lose hair on their temples. Men are more likely than women to go completely bald.

The people often find themselves at loss to have proper hair style due to thin hair. In US about $3.5 billion each year is spent to stop hair fall.

It may occur due to several reasons. The chief among them are the hormone imbalance, deficiency of nutrients in diet, negligence to take proper care of the hair, pollution, sunburn chemical changes in body, use of synthetic shampoos, dyes, hair oils, etc.

Structure of Hair and hair Loss

The hair is made of a protein called keratin and the loss of it causes hair fall and grey hair. There are several reasons for the loss of production of keratin in the body including age, heredity, diet, improper care, stress etc.

The hair follicle holds each hair into the skin. The base of the hair follicle is formed by hair bulb in which the living cells divide and grow to build the hair shaft. The blood vessels nourish the cells in the hair bulb and deliver hormones for the growth and structure of the hair at different stages in life.

The hair loss may be due to loss in the functionality of a pseudo gene which helps in production of keratin.

My go to treatment is always olive oil + egg, coconut oil. Your suggestions are really interesting.

I might not be able to easily find all the ingredients here in London but I'll definitely be able to try honey, lemon juice and garlic juice with rosemary tea.

However, won't the garlic smell stay in the hair?
