Yogurt and Honey Mask

  1. Yogurt (plain), 2 tablespoons
  2. Honey, 1 teaspoon
  3. Cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon
  4. Oatmeal, 1 tablespoons
  5. Olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Mix all ingredients in a small bowl with a fork

First, wash your face with facial soap and warm water, rinse and dry. Then begin to apply the yogurt facial mixture to your face with your fingers. Wipe on the first layer in an upward motion, then dab on a thick second layer of the yogurt facial mask. Now leave on for 15-30 minutes, rinse with a lot of warm water, and apply a moisturizer. A yogurt and honey mask can be applied as a facial mask once every week, or applied to the face daily.

Benefits of Yogurt on Skin

A yogurt face mask assists the skin in preventing dryness, and helps to close large pores. Also a yogurt facial mask is great as an antibacterial and antifungal on the skin, which will decrease acne on the face. Including, yogurt on the skin rejuvenate the texture and holds moisture in the skin. The plus is that a yogurt mask can assist with preventing wrinkles.

Plain yogurt contains protein, potassium, and calcium. The protein in yogurt helps fill in fine lines in the face, but only with consistent use of a daily yogurt mask. Pectin found in yogurt is a gelling agent that helps hold the yogurt mask on the face without being watery. Pectin works well with the protein that's in yogurt to make it thick, which helps the protein, potassium, and calcium absorb into the skin. Potassium found in yogurt helps to relax tensed muscles in the face, and the calcium in yogurt assist with renewing cells to make your skin glow.

♥ Honey is a natural ingredient that makes the skin glow, and assists with keeping bacteria away that causes pimples, eczema and acne. Honey on the skin is also good for preventing pre mature aging and fine lines.

♥ Cinnamon helps work as an antiseptic, assists with decreasing inflammation, reduces fine lines on the face, and absorbs into the skin to help dry up acne. Cinnamon is great for aromatherapy it assists in reducing stress because of its exotic smell.

♥ Oatmeal is an organic substance that can be used on the skin; it works as a mild exfoliant, is an anti-inflammatory, and helps to retain moisture in the skin. Oatmeal as a facial also decreases dead skin cells and it's great as a facial scrub.

Olive oil is not just oil it is an essential oil, and it is an antioxidant which helps to deep clean your skin. Olive oil also assists with treating the face from extreme sun exposure, and it locks in moisture on the face.
