How To Build Your Own Vanity Table

Updated on February 13, 2016

Build your Own Vanity Table

A vanity table is not only used to put on your makeup, but it should also make you feel beautiful and more feminine.

With a little bit of effort, you can build your very own vanity table to call your own and look great.

First of all, you'll need a pretty, shiny brown table. I suggest that you get a dark brown table made with real wood. It should be fairly small, and you can get it at a thrift store. A must, dust the table every day for the prettiest and most polished results. Get a wooden chair that matches the shade of the table. Dust it every day.

Next, you're going to need a make up mirror and set it up for night time wear. Yellow lights should be avoided since they can show every flaw on your face, therefore you look homely. You're going to want a setting that flatters your skin tone, no matter how bad your skin appears. A night time setting has dim lights in which are flattering to your skin tone and make up mirrors are in expensive. They can be sold at Wallgreens, CVS and other major drugstores as well. And also, dim lights add flattery to your face and the lights make your skin look prettier. And it also makes you feel prettier!

You can get an oval shaped mirror instead of a makeup mirror. Oval shaped mirrors make your facial structure look the prettiest. Just hammer a nail into your wall and hang up the mirror. Lights? Get soft peachy toned lights and get a handy man or a skilled person who knows how to install lights, put the lights all around the mirror.

Decorate your new vanity table with pretty flowers or pretty pictures, just something pretty and feminine.

And you are all set!
Tootles!
