Materials You Will Need To Make Gemstone EyeShadow
To begin making beautiful gemstone eye shadow with a spiritual purpose, you will need.
1. Gemstones of your choice
3. Mortar and Pestle
4. Silica Gel
5. Small plastic container with lid.
*First step, you are going to hammer the gemstones on a firm format, like a sturdy table or better yet outside on the ground, or, concrete basement floor. Concrete is best. While hammering the gemstones, they will shatter into smaller pieces. Once the gemstones are very small, almost salt like, you will then scoop them up and place them into the mortar and pestle. You will then, grind the gemstones into dust, this may take some time, but eventually the gemstones will crush. Once grounded into powder form, take your small plastic container and place the gemstone powder into it. You will then add a few drops of silica gel. stir together until smooth, use more drops if its to chalky.
*Silica gel is crystal quarts in a gel form, some people add this gel to smoothies, shampoos and lotions to have stronger hair and finger nails, it is totally safe and eatable. Yes eatable crystals!
Now the Silica gel will become a base for the powered gemstones. It will lock the dust onto your eyelids so that the eye shadow is long lasting. You will not have to apply multiple times a day. You can also substitute the silica gel with bees wax. I'm a big crystal fan, so I like my eye shadow with 100% gemstones. You will leave the silica gel and gemstone powder mixture in the small plastic container with lid to set for 24 hours. Caution, only use a few drops of silica gel, you do not want to make the eye shadow to watery.
Today's Eye Shadow
Today's eye shadow is a cosmetic that is applied on the eyelids and under the eyebrows. It is commonly used to make the wearer's eyes stand out or look more attractive.
Eye shadow can add depth and dimension to one's eyes, complement the eye color, make one's eyes appear larger, or simply draw attention to the eyes. Eye shadow comes in many different colors and textures. It is usually made from a powder and mica, but can also be found in liquid, pencil, cream or mousse form.
I personally think we should get back to wearing eye shadow for spirituality and awakening the 3rd eye. Along with other psychic gifts and protection. Our ancestors held sacred knowledge. Now, we can get back to rituals that enhanced the mind body and soul. With my new launch of gemstone eye shadow, "Awaken" by Anunnaki energy, I have found a way to awaken our inner goddess, and honor our ancestors.
