How To Tell An Imitation Coach Handbag From A Genuine One
Of course any average women in the world would want a Coach purse, not only because the bags are a nice accessory to go along with your wardrobe, they are also very well made. Coach is also one of the leading brands in handbags, and they are extremely long-lasting. But its not always that easy to tell when its' a genuine Coach handbag or just a knock-off or an imitation. It's always best to investigate, because there are actually MANY differences between the genuine Coach handbag and the not as well made, imitations.
Details On Your Coach Purse
One way to tell if your Coach handbag is real or not is to pay attention to the details. For example, the handle on a genuine Coach purse will stay strong and the leather will not get worn out. The handle on an imitation will be rubbery and wear out easily. You can also tell by looking at the clasps on your Coach purse, if the clasps are printed with the Coach logo then your bag is most likely the real thing. Another important detail that you need to check for is the leather panel on the inside of a Coach purse. This panel will have the bag's individual number on it, and if it doesn't, it's an imitation. You should also pay attention to whether the bag is sturdy and standing up straight, or lopsided and leaning to one side.
The Signature Coach "C" Pattern Can Make A Difference
Coach's signature pattern is extremely well known by just about everyone who is associated with the Coach company. This pattern is made of various different C's facing in many different directions. Although it looks like they are just scattered all about, the authentic Coach bag has a specific pattern that the C's are in. The imitation bag is really the one with C's scattered everywhere in random places. Even though the C's are placed in pairs on both the genuine bag and the imitation bag, you can easily tell the difference.
Other Strange Patterns That Aren't Coach
Sometimes you will see bags that appear to be Coach, but they have patches of different patterns. These are most likely an imitation Coach purse. They usually are based on one color and have patches of that color and patches of the Coach "C" and patches of some other strange knock-off patterns. And of course the people who create these strange Coach imitations usually use a "G" or a "O" instead of the signature Coach "C" in fear of getting caught copying the Coach trademark. (These Coach imitations usually look like the one below with many different patterns.)
You May Get A Good Deal But...
Coach bags are usually expensive, so most people can't afford one. Sometimes you come across one that is really cheap, so of course you want to buy it. Even though it might be tempting to buy a Coach purse that's on sale at an unbelievable price, you shouldn't, because if the deal seems to good to be tru,e then it probably isn't a real Coach bag. So whenever you go shopping and you find a bag that looks like Coach, and is on sale, don't buy it!! Or at least don't buy it until you've checked the leather panel inside for the bag's number and all the little details that make it a genuine Coach handbag..
