Red Lipstick

Red Lipstick is a classic color for women that many women desire. It gives you an empowering look and it certainly looks great when applied appropriately. Many actresses have sported red lips. They look stunning and sexy all at once. Red lipstick was the first color I was introduced to. At one time, red was the predominant color -- it might still be today. As much as a woman may desire red, it isn't the easiest color to match with your undertones. Lipstick period is challenging to choose.

Covergirl, MAC, Revlon, Maybelline, Chanel, Loreal, Clinique, and Nars are some of the popular name brands in stores and online. They have an entire line of makeup. It really is hard to choose the perfect red. Which is why I have included a Tutorial Video that lays out the process really well. Make sure you check IT out all the way through. You will feel confident in wearing your red lipstick after following the instructions.

History of Cosmetics

The history of cosmestics spans at least 6,000 years of human history and almost every society on earth. Wikipedia. Women have been know to wear red as a status symbol. Lipstick is the one adorning cosmetic that women can not do without. They will forego eyeliner, blush, eyeshadow, even foundation; and when asked what item they will not leave home without, they will tell you, lipstick or lip gloss.

Avon and Mary Kay are long time distributors of make up. It is easy to find lipstick at your local pharmacy or drug store. You can even find lipstick at the Dollar Store, but if you want quality, be ware of no name brands. Avon is still going strong and Mary Kay is keeping up with the pace.

Thanks. This is interesting and you shared some nice beauty tips. I've never worn red lipstick, I feel it will stand out too much, so I wear a very light shade of pink. Red really looks nice on some people though.

    Enjoy the weekend. :)

Red is my favorite color so yes, I do wear it.

There are various shades of red and we have to choose the right one. Blue, pink, brown and yellow are all added to create different types of red.
