How to Pick Beach Bunny Swimwear for Summer

Updated on September 6, 2014

Choosing Swim Suits for Summer Time

She posed for an ad wearing a white two piece swimwear that can be easily picked out for summer.

To get the look I have come up with some helpful criteria to look for when deciding on which one will be best for you.

One of the things I have noticed about the summer months is that although we want to be on the beach all day it just is not possible.

It could be a weekend getaway to meet up with friends or it could be a romantic time with the one you love.

This will determine how you will wear your bikini. I like to choose two pieces to wear when I feel the best about my body and can wear some suntan lotion to keep my skin evenly tanned.

Usually you will find that in the evening you will want to wear a wrap or tunic to cover up even if you are sitting by the bonfire.

It stays warm as the nightfalls and the moon starts to appear high in the sky, so wearing a bikini that is comfortable is one of the best tips to follow.

Two piece swimsuits mix and match are the best ones to pick

You have probably experienced having to exchange tops and bottoms at your favorite swimwear store.

Not every one can wear the one size fits all measurements. So when picking the right swim suit you want to be able to mix and match the pieces.

Finding the right suit for your body shape is something that needs to be put into consideration. What is your body type? remember that horizontal stripes make you appear to be wider.

As for bright colors they can emphasize the areas you want to look bigger and darker shades can minimize areas you want to look smaller.

Having the right color to complement your tan

Now white is a favorite for many California girls because it will make your tan show up better. You will want to pick a color that is not too bright but not too dull.

One of the trends for the summer is to combine stripes with color against a white background, this will give a really sailor type fashionable look.

Some of the best colors to compliment a tan are yellow, white, and sky blue .

The reason I know this is because most swimsuit catalogs like to feature the bikini models with these colors to show off their healthy dark tans on the beach in the photoshoot.

Styles available include:

It is also a good idea to know what type of style your looking for when it comes to the various brands of swimwear.

Some of the more common ones include: Low rise, Tie side, Lace waist and Shirred for the bottoms and the tops come in halter, triangle, bandeau, and under-wire.

Just make sure that you are wearing one that fits your body properly because one that is too big or too small will not be very flattering.

Your body type can fit anywhere from Apple body, Pear body, Banana body, Hourglass body or round body. Just remember what suit will work for one body type may not work for yours.

Two Piece Swimwear Ideas

One piece cover ups are okay but it is best if you can get into shape and have a new two piece bikini to wear to the beach.

Kim Kardashian shows how to wear a nice blue two piece bathing suit that is fashionable and stylish.

If you choose to wear one it is going to be a great look and will get you plenty of admirers.

The beach can get crowded so you will want to have plenty of suntan lotion a towel and a spray bottle.

The reason is it will help you cool down and protect your skin at the same time. Not everyone feels comfortable in a two piece but if you can pull it off it will be very chic.

Have a couple of friends to help you pick a designer swim suit that is going to show off your style.

The fabric is another thing to consider its best to have material that will breath.

You do not want to be in polyester type fabric or any that has too many design elements. Simple is always best.

Beach wraps as swimsuit accessories

You are probably not the only one who wants to cover-up sometimes at the beach. so there is some great wrap around swimwear accessories that are really pretty.

It is nice to have matching towels, sandals, beach bags in a variety of collections from old Hollywood, desert rose, flower child, lady lace, la dolce vita, and rock the casbah.

They work for those days that you are staying at the beach all day and need a way to cover up your thighs or hips in a haute beach bunny tunic and still look fabulous.

The colors that work best for these which are usually sheer but you can get solid ones to is in a variety of colors and you can experiment.

Buy more than one swimsuit

It is important to have at least two or three swimsuits when you go shopping, make sure that you can interchange them.

Especially if you are traveling and you want to pack more than one just in case. You never know you may lose one and its best to have a back up one.

You will want to experiment with two different colors and styles when picking these out, so if you want a brighter looking one or a darker swimsuit you can dress for your mood.

Designer Swimwear Favorites

Diagonal Bold Prints

Bold prints are all the rage right now and if you are thinking of going to miami the beaches are going to be crowded with beautiful people who know how to shine in a beautiful bikini.

These bold pop art designs work well with a one piece swimsuit, so this swimsuit favorite should be added to your wish list.

Diagonal is always best it will help you look slimmer from the side and the front.

Denim Bikini Bathing Suit

One of my all time favorites and is a keeper this spring is the denim bikini, yes it is unconventional but worth a try. Many styles will come in boy shorts, studded denim looks and halter tops.

This will probably be more of a fashion accessory and not necessarily practical for swimming.

Ruffles to add flair

Bikini tops and bikini tops with ruffles is so cute. Tiny ruffles or larger designs can work for those who have big busty curves. Just realize that the shape of your body will make all the difference when picking out a ruffle swimwear.

Get wild with animal prints

Animal print swimsuits are so hot. Who can resist the wild and trendy look of zebra stripes or tiger or leopard prints.

You can mix and match solids with prints to get an original style of your own.

Do you have an Ebay affiliate account? If you don't then you can't earn by selling items through your Ebay links. You might be better off trying Amazon affiliate sales.
