Tomatoes tend to be one of the best home remedies in treating pimples and pimple scars. They contain Vitamin A which tends to reduce the wrinkles and pimples. It has antioxidants which are helpful in fighting in the inflammation in the pimple scar.

Aloe vera juice too has been regarded as a natural healer in treating acne and pimple scars. Just apply fresh aloe juice on the scars or aloe gel on the pimples. After sustained use, you will see reduction in scars.

Tea tree oil and castor oil both are also effective in treating acne and pimple scars. You can gently massage your scars with these oils.

Drinking lots of water at least 8 glasses of water helps to prevent the breakout of pimples.

Rubbing the pimples with ice too helps in reducing inflammation. Proper use of ice on the pimples helps to treat the swelling and thus prevents them from turning large. Just rub the ice cubes frequently.

Baking soda should be mixed with water to make a fine paste and applied on the affected area. Keep it for 15 minutes and then wash off. This should be done at least thrice a week.

A mask of lemon juice and plain yoghurt too works out to be useful. You can leave the mask overnight or wash off after 30 minutes.

Microdermabrasion: if there is only surface scar then this method can prove to be effective. It is primarily a method of exfoliation and helps to remove the scars. This is done either manually or with the help of machines depending upon the gravity of the problem.

Laser Resurfacing: this is yet another common method of treating severe pimple scars. It is a painless method and requires little time also. However it is a costly method and hence used only if there is really a necessity.
