How To Wear Clogs
The wooden heel Clogs are everywhere this season among women shoes lines and although I’ve heard the typical “Ew Clogs!” from some of my friends, I know that when this shoe when worn correctly, clogs can look stylish and chic. Just look at Chanel’s Spring 2010 runnway collection. Trust me you can’t go wrong if Lagerfeld loves them. Many designers like Miu Miu and Jeffrey Campbell are leading the way into this fabulous vintage shoe trend. One of my favorite clogs for this season are from Steve Madden. This Camme clog goes with everything and it is so cute and chic.
Tips and Tricks for Wearing Clogs
The trendy fashion clog is all about the heel. The clogs that are my favorite for 2011 have a wooden 5 inch heel and a platform. I think that the big heel is the most flattering way to wear clogs with the heel made out of wood. This shoe trend was seen on the Channel Runways last spring and it is going to continue to be one of the most popular looks for fall winter 2010 and this is one look that are leg lengthening with whatever you wear it with. My very first pair of clogs were red in a perforated leather. This year my first online purchase was for a pair of Sam Edelman wooden heeled clog. Black clogs from Michael Kors are my favorite this year as they can be paired with anything I am wearing. I can walk for hours in these shoes. And best part is how fashionable they look.
Wear Clogs With...
This years clogs are turning up as a youthful alternative to wear with the sporty and frilly minidresses and shorts that went down the all the fashion runways. Alexander Wang paired jaunty leather mules with zippered bloomer shorts and striped polos, while Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton grounded his frilly campsite party dresses with horsehair-covered low-riders. Michael Kors leads the way with suede shoes and he is always a favorite fashion designer of mine.
Your wooden high heeled clogs will look great with anything you put one. The height along with the comfort of these shoes will make you a fan of the clog forever. Personally there is not one outfit that I have paired my Jeffrey Campbell clogs with that did not look cute and hip. From the heel to the platform, I just love these shoes.

Clogs Are Here to Stay
Some think that the trendy wooden Clogs will look best with jeans. But if you pair your clogs with short shorts, or a short skirt it will elongate your leg giving you a tall and slim appearance. Pair this womens shoe with any pair of pants and again you will see that this is a shoe that goes with just about everything.
The clog is here to stay. It will be a staple for your fall / winter wardrobe and come Spring you will find even more that you are turning to this shoe. Not only is this a shoe that is hip and trendy but it is so comfortable.
