Looking for Business Cases on a Beer Budget and Champagne Taste? These products do exist and today smart retailers need to have an adequate supply. The problem has been that you have to scour so many different places to find a decent selection. I made it my mission to find a vast selection that fits the bill. Inexpensive does not have to mean cheap! My criteria, is to find the best value for your money. There is no doubt that premium grade hardware, expensive components, and expensive lining can drive up the price on any business case. Not to mention, name branded products, also have royalties and pricey advertising costs associated with the product. That is not to say that you can find a branded name product at a good price, as they do exist and we have some listed in this category. We call these opportunity buys. So how did we make it happen?

Although, there are customers who like 'bling' on their business case, the fact is that expensive hardware drives up the price on your bag like you would not believe! Some of the larger expandable briefs have as many as 12-15 zipper pullers. Therefore, if the zipper puller is some sort of expensive or exotic composition such as gold plated hardware or TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber), the product won't be economically priced. Of course, the same applies to the shoulder strap sliders and D-Rings, and all the remaining hardware. Another surprise, is the collateral material. If you purchase a high-end luxury or premium business case or handbag, it is not uncommon that the gift box that it comes in, looks like a presentation box in and of itself. Some practically look like a jewelry box. Believe me, that is built into the cost of the product. Likewise the hangtags and product information tags can be made out of some ridiculously expensive papers stock. None of our value priced cases are adorned with these 'price builders'. The best part about these affordable business cases, is that you do not have to sacrifice quality or function.

We like to recommend that you start your search by becoming familiar with all related product knowledge. It is particularly important to become familiar with the terminology that describes the function, features, and composition. The more product information you have, the more likely your purchase will translate to a good return on your investment. Be prepared with the critical information:

  1. What are the electonics or appliances you will be putting into your business case?
  2. What is the screen size of your laptop?
  3. Measure the outer dimensions of your laptop, Height x Width x Depth
  4. Keep in mind, briefcases with zipper closures generally have curved zippers at the corners. Your laptop is probably not angled, so you need to allow for (atleast) an extra 1" to accommodate your laptop without straining or damaging the zipper closure.
  5. Does the case have compartments or space for your iPad/Tablet, Smart Phone, Pens, Reading Glasses, Airline Tickets, etc.
  6. Does the case have a shoulder strap, sling strap, or backpack features?
  7. What is the composition of the case? Performance Fabric, Canvas, Leather, Nubuck Leather, Distressed Leather, Combination of Fabric/Leather, etc.
  8. What design are you looking for? Business Tote, Computer Backpack, Flap Brief, Sling Bag, Messenger, Lawyer's Brief, Accounting Brief, Pilot's Case, Satchel with Business Interior (iPad/Tablet Compartment or Protected Laptop Compartment)
  9. How do you clean or care for the product? This consideration is important if you want to extend the life of the product. (Hint: if the retailer of this product is not prepared to give you advise in this category, they lack product knowledge. Perhaps you should consider shopping elsewhere).
  10. Is their a return or exchange policy? If so how long and what are the terms? We find that a generous policy is usually allowing for a refund or exhange within 30 days of purchase, providing the product is returned in new and unused condition and with original box and tags.

We also have included an abundance of suppliers that offer excellent bargains! If they have survived this 'quick-sand' economy of recent years, chances are they have learned to operate with new discipline. In fact, we find that many of our suppliers are looking for much faster turns on their inventory because of the unfortunate economic downturn. Therefore, if they are overstocked or haven't turned the merchandise as quickly as they have anticipated, the distributors are willing to reduce the price and offer us retailers 'opportunity buys'.

As a specialty store and online retailer, it is our obligation to find a great assortment of these values to provide our customer. Despite the fact that most of us have been living on a tighter budget, we still have reason to shop, whether for ourselves or for a special gift. Graduation season is one of our busiest seasons, and what is different in today’s economy versus more robust times, is that we all have financial parameters. Our experience is that the consumer does not want to compromise on quality or design element. Consequently, we focused on product that is affordably priced at $149.99 or less. We feature this classification under the broad category of and the subcategory of Value Prices Laptop & Business Cases.

Our entire selection of business cases are contemporary, loaded with organization and features and each style offers nice quality. We have a large assortment designed for women, men, or the young graduate or executive. Each style has a comprehensive description to provide all the product knowledge and specific feature information to help you make your decision. Although, the majority of the styles are leather, you will also find styles in the ever-growing category of performance materials such as ballistic nylon, performance fabrics, canvas or the lighter weight micro-ballistic. In closing, I would highly recommend that you read my article on ‘GENUINE LEATHER’, to help you better understand the various quality levels of leather. If the product information provided does not answer all of your questions, we would be honored to address any additional questions or concerns. Thank you for taking the time to read this article, we hope you enjoyed the content!
