This hub reveals some of the truths about inner thigh liposuction, including general information about this cosmetic surgery as well as some tips before and after the surgery.

Thigh liposuction

The human adult has a relatively fixed number of fat cells in their bodies, but the cell sizes are constantly changing. When cells grow bigger due to some reasons, people will gain some extra weight. Traditional methods to lose weight, such as eating a low-calories diet or doing exercise, all focus on shrinking fat cells, and these methods can only change the size of fat cells instead of reducing their numbers. Liposuction, on the other hand, has some advantages in reducing a large number of fat cells in a short period of time, and the results can be effective and successful. Liposuction makes losing weight an easy task without adverse effects on the human body.

Thigh liposuction is a common type of surgery with an amazing result. It is a perfect choice for those who want to reshape their thigh immediately. So, what is a thigh liposuction after all? In general, thigh liposuction can be divided into lateral thigh and inner thigh, knee medial liposuctions.

Lateral thigh liposuction: Fat accumulation in lateral thigh is often accompanied by fat hyperplasia around the upper knee. In preoperative examination, plastic surgeon will usually check the fat thickness around the patient’s lateral thigh to decide how many fat cells should be suctioned. After the operation, the remaining subcutaneous fat thickness should be consistent with its surrounding area. Over-suction may cause uneven skin or asymmetry.

Inner thigh: inner thing liposuction is far more difficult than lateral thigh lipo because the skin around inner thigh is so thin that it usually bleeds in the operation, and the postoperative result is not stable but subject to change instead. It should be noted that any over suction of the fat will result in large gap between the legs.

Inner thigh liposuction

Inner thigh is the place where fat is easiest to store in, inner thigh fat is very difficult to remove by way of exercise, that’s why inner thigh liposuction has become a good choice and is gaining popularity in recent years. Liposuction on inner thigh is a type of cosmetic surgery that can effectively remove excess fat accumulated in your legs. Then what is the general process of an inner thigh liposuction?

Inner thigh liposuction is one of most difficult surgery among other liposuctions because fat distribution around inner thigh is very different from other places such as abdomen. The deep layer of fat in inner thigh is thin, and the superficial layer of fat and the skin corium are thinner, prone to lead uneven skin after the operation. Therefore, liposuction in inner thigh requires more skills, doctors have to find balance between result and uneven surface. If the suction volume is too low, there would be no significant effect, however, if there is over suction, uneven skin surface is inevitable.

Contraindications of inner thigh liposuction

Although inner thigh liposuction is an effective and safe surgery, it has certain contraindications. Liposuction can be done on people who are about 18 to 55 years old, with no heart and lung diseases, with no history of serious drug allergy, with no thrombophlebitis and other serious diseases. Liposuction should not be done on pregnant women to avoid impact on the fetus; children should also be kept away from liposuction, because the operation interferes with the body's normal growth and development, it will affect hormone metabolism. Liposuction is best for people above 18 years of age
