Jeggings - Skinnier then Skinny Jeans but more Comfortable
There are very few must-have items going into Back to School this year, but one item or “thee” item is jeggings, pants which merge the fit of leggings with the style of jeans Mom’s just when you thought skinny jeans couldn't get any thinner, let’s catch you up and introduce your daughter newest texting term in fashion: Jeggings. (Or Treggings, to you Brits.) A hybrid from cotton, polyester, and spandex, for that suck-it-in, painted-on look without the loss of circulation in your lower half.
Jeggings are flying off the back-to-school shelves faster than then people can get their hands on them, getting them online maybe the only way to get them this season.
Wedbush Securities calls them "the standout apparel trend," while Sterne Agee & Leech reports that "some stores could barely keep them on shelves."
Jeggings are the pseudo-pants that just don’t give in. Since Topshop introduced the term en masse in May of last year, the bottoms have edged from the back racks of e-shops like Amazon to the forefront of our nation's shopping consciousness. Goldman Sachs most notably came out with a very important official back-to-school trend report that identifies jeggings as a strong seller.
While this is clearly a trend worth having your daughter participate it. Jeggings qualify as the hardest piece of clothing to put on. Lets go back and think of cold water jean baths and pliers to zip up those skinner jeans, I guess they just got a little easier to put on.
