Lioele Secret Pore Rich Balm Review

About this product

Lioele has an entire line of products which are meant to hide enlarged pores. This line of products is known as "Secret Pore." One of the most popular products in the line is the Secret Pore Rich Balm. This product is used as a primer and is applied before foundation or bb cream. It works to cover pores and moisturize skin, priming it for makeup application.

The entire reason I purchase this product was the packaging. It is incredibly girly and features a small semi see-through pot with a pink cap and lettering. There is a lot of product inside of the pot and it has a very thick texture. The only real problem with the packaging is the pot. If you are a person who is worried about hygiene with your cosmetic products, you probably will not like this pot because you have to dip your finger into it for every use.

The balm inside the pot is incredibly thick in texture, but once it hits the skin, it becomes very soft. It spreads easily and is very smooth. It feels like it would be greasy, but it is not. In fact, it actually helps to control oil whenever I wear it under my makeup.

The product, for me, only slightly covers pores. It works about as well as Benefit's The Porefessional. If you live in the United States, you can probably get Benefit's product easier. However, since I don't mind waiting, I enjoy importing the Lioele Secret Rich Balm because I like the pot container. The two products actually feel similar once applied, but I like girly products, and this product is cuter. The upside to this balm is that it lasts longer than a tube of the competing product.

Both products are about the same price, too - $20. If you don't mind waiting, I do recommend trying this product for your makeup primer. It doesn't give a drastic difference, but it does cover somewhat. It also helps makeup go on smoother, so if you use this product, you don't need a separate primer.

3 stars for Liole Secret Pore Rich Balm
