Make-up Finds to Keep in Mind
Like many people out there, I like the way those pretty, peach smelling palettes and stunning glow kits look, but the price tag, not so much. It can all add up to a very hefty price, very quickly. I know this from personal experience.
Luckily, there's alternatives that can do the same thing.
Many people go to stores like Ross, TJ Maxx, or Marshalls to get decently priced clothing, but not a lot of people stop to look at their cosmetics. They may not have the most well known, high-end brands, but they have a wide variety of cosmetics.
At Ross, I have seen bundles of three Physicians Formula products for approximately ten dollars, when they are usually about thirteen a piece at the drugstore. They also have lots of products from lesser-known brands. Some of the stuff is hit or miss, but it's all fairly cheap.
Same thing goes for TJ Maxx and Marshalls. The only difference is, if you're lucky, you can get cheap, high-end products. I've seen an Anastasia cream contour, two faced powders, and Estee Lauder products at Marshalls.
The thought that these items may be marked down and cheap for a reason might come to mind. Like I mentioned before, it's all hit or miss. Some of it works, and it works well. While others, are completely terrible. I have eye shadow palettes with beautiful colors and high in pigmentation, and I've also purchased highlighters as bright as a dull rock. So yes, it is marked down for a reason: Sometimes, it just isn't as high in quality. Although, that doesn't mean that you can't find a great product that works for you.
