The Perfect Dress...Just for You!

Crystal's View:

Your wedding day represents the commitment you are voluntarily agreeing to with the person you love. It is a spectacular day, that will change the path of your life in many ways. Everything will be hectic, with planning and decisions made as a couple leading up to your special day.

The wedding dress that you will proudly wear though, should fit the personality you uphold. It should reflect your style, your identity and your very being. This will not be an easy decision, but when all is said and done, you should be satisfied with the choice you made for your dress. When you walk down that isle and all eyes are on you...you should feel like the very princess you are.

To get started with your search, I have gathered many different designs out there that will hopefully narrow your search a bit by choosing the style you would like to try. Good luck and remember to breath!

The Sweetheart Look

Sweetheart dresses create what looks like a heart around the breasts. It comes in many forms and styles such as:

  • Halter top
  • Neckline
  • Short Sleeve
  • Long Sleeve
  • Embellished

They are all so beautiful. They tend to accentuate the breasts and cause the observers to look towards the neck and chest. With that said...anyone can wear this look...it is the bottom of the dress that will make the difference for each person.

Plus size women can choose a lovey A-line gown. This includes the Princess and the Ball Gown skirt. This will bring the eye away from the breasts and waists causing the observer to see a slimmer figure. You may also consider a dress with a corset to further slim your midsection.

For an athletic build the shoulders are muscular so to achieve a slimmer upper body and accentuate the breasts a halter or shoulder wrap with the sweetheart look is amazing. Most athletic women have a straight midsection all the way down to their waist so the bottom of the dress can be an empire waist or A-line to achieve a sexy, curvy look to the observer.

Thin/Tall/Slim women can choose an empire or A-line dress to give the observer a more curvy look. Or you have the option to accentuate your slim figure with embellishments on the dress and a beautiful cut out back.

So depending on your body type the bottom of the dress is just as important as the top! So choose wisely and make sure to try out a sweetheart dress to get the feel for the look before you decide which design type you like best.

If you are stressed, take a nice bubble bath, relax, workout or do some yoga to calm those hormones. Take a break and when you are ready, come back to the search full force! No one wants a bridezilla! Keep it classy.

This adventure doesn't have to be overwhelming. Ask for help from friends and family you trust to help out in the search. Try to choose these people wisely.
