NYX Eyeshadow Base - Marionnaud Foundation Brush

It's quite common for makeup gurus and hobbyists to share their favorite products of the month.  To get started, here's mine :)

NYX Eyeshadow Base:
I've been using creamy eyeshadow as an eyeshadow base for quite some time but when compared to NYX, using creamy eyeshadow as a base is not very effective. Eyeshadow base is meant to prevent creasing and creamy eyeshadow is known to well, crease. Sure it helped my eyeshadow stick to my lid but what's the point if it cracks.

If you want your eyeshadow to look smooth buy an official base. You won't believe the difference.

Marionnaud Foundation Brush:
If you've been following me for a while you probably know I love brushes. I recently bought a professional kit from Sigma and as I've said before, I don't regret it. Their brush hairs beat the word soft and the handles shine with quality. Their brand is highly respected in the online community but with quality comes a cost. I paid about $150 for the set I got and that didn't include international shipping.

If you want an affordable foundation brush equaling in quality here it is. I bought my Marionnaud Foundation Brush at SM Mall for 150 pesos, or $3. I'm quite pleased.
