My review on the Tria Hair Removal 4X Laser

Updated on February 6, 2015

The Pain

To be honest, the tria really hurts. It's a mix of a rubber band snapping on your skin and heat on the most sensitive parts of your skin. After a few times, my under arms got used to the pain and I can easily use the tria on its highest level. On my bikini line, I still have to work my way up to the higher levels. The tria comes in five levels It works best with light skin and dark hair. There's a skin sensor built-in so if it's not suitable for your skin tone it won't work and you'll have to return it. The pain is much more bearable if you use the gel that comes with the Tria.

The Price

I bought Sephora gift cards on sale, so I purchased the Tria for a total price of $400. It's pretty expensive, but I believe I'll end up saving more in the long run. I can use the Tria on my face, legs, under arms, and bikini line, which would probably end up costing more than $1000 if I used a Groupon. I definitely think the Tria is worth the price.

The Results

My under arms are almost completely hairless after less than two months of use. I'm not sure if it's permanent yet, but my under arms have never been so smooth. My bikini line still has a few hairs left, but I'm still working my way up towards the highest level. Overall I'm so incredibly happy with the results and I definitely recommend purchasing a Tria from Sephora because of their generous return policy.
