Blue Sapphire - The Gemstone of Capricorn and Aquarius

Blue Sapphire or Neelam is the gemstone of the Zodiacs Capricorn and Aquarius. The Lord of these zodiac signs is Saturn or Shani. How to wear Neelam or Blue Sapphire ring?

Given below is the Procedure to wear a Neelam ring.

One should wear a minimum of 3 ½ carets of Blue Sapphire when wearing this gem as an astrological remedy. Neelam should be worn on silver or gold. Neelam gemstone ring should be put in a copper vessel on Friday night in sweetened unboiled milk and gangajal mixture and worn on the middle finger on Saturday after praying to bhagwan shankar and removing it from the vessel. Also chant Shani Mantra 108 times. The Mantra for Shani or saturn is

"OM RAVI PUTRAYA VIDMAHE YAMAGRAJAYA DHEEMAHEE, THANNO SANI PRACHODAYAT" and

"OM KRAAM KREEM KROUM SAHA SANIYAI NAMAHA".

The Saturn (Shani) mantra should be recited every Saturday during the first hour from sunrise for 8 continuous Saturdays to charge the Stone.The best effects of the stone is up to 5 years of wearing the stone. Blue Sapphire should not be worn along with Ruby, Pearl, Red Coral or their substitute stones. It is advisable to wear the Blue Sapphire Gemstone only after the consultation with an expert in Astrology.

    hi anamika, thanks for the post. i wanted to ask you about the types of blue sapphire that are available. I see the color of the gem that you have shown is dark blue. i checked in jeweler's shop and they showed me a light blue one. is it having the same powers? pls advise. thanks.
