New UGG Winter Range

As winter approaches UGG Australia annually release their new range of women's UGG boots. This year we have 10 new UGG's to see us into 2018. The new range includes mid-boots, high-boots, clogs and slippers to prepare us for the colder weather. UGG are well known for assigning unusual and fascinating names to their boots and this year is no different. The names of the new UGG's this year are: Fluff Momma Mongolian, Classic Short Petal, Ansley Petal, Rea Leather, Mini Bailey Petal, Lida, Fluff Mongolian Clog, Ugg Slide, Madison and Riley.

In this article we will take a look at the individual attributes of each of the boots and discuss our favourites for the festive season.

Ansley Petal

Ansley Petal - The Deluxe Slipper. The popular UGG suede moccasins gets girly this season as they come with embellished floral appliques. The Ansley Petal is a cross between a slipper and a shoe. It includes some intricate leather and suede flow embellishments and it has metal studs, pearls and Swarovski crystal details. It comes complete with the typical UGG pure wool lining and insole, with a rubber outsole to maximise comfort. Available in 2 colours: Black and Seal.

Mini Bailey Petal

Mini Bailey Petal -The Classic Bailey UGG boot continues to be featured in the range year after year and this year is no different. Slight adjustments have been made to the boot but it's overall appearance is similar to that of previous years.

Inspired by the mod movement, this boot features a leather and suede flower closure with crystal embellishment. It is Twinface and includes Swarvoski crystals and UGG Pure Wool, Nylon Binding and a 5.5" shaft height.

Fluff Momma Mongolian

Fluff Momma Mongolian is UGG's golden statement piece this year and is available as a boot and as a slipper. This boot is a truly unique design crafted from Mongolian Sheepskin with a soft interior. You won't see many boots like this on the high street this year. Some of the key features include: UGGpure™ wool vamp lining, Textile shaft lining, UGGpure™ wool insole, Treadlite by UGG™ outsole, Nylon binding, 8" shaft height.

The boot and slipper are available in a 3 different colours: Black, Peach and White.

UGG Slide

The UGG Slide Slipper is designed to be worn with patterned socks through winter and showcasing your toes come spring. The Nylon binded UGG Slide Slipper is made from Suede, Sheepskin logo on vamp, UGGpure™ wool lining, UGGpure™ wool insole, and features a Treadlite outsole. It should be noted that the UGG Slide Slipper contains real fur from sheep or lamb.

Riley UGG Boot

Elevated by a subtle wedge the Riley Ugg Boot is designed to allow for the curved topline to be worm popped up against tucked in Jeans. A seude boot with metal grommet details and real sheepskin lining, with the typical UGGpure™ wool insole and Treadlite outsole. It has an built in arch support which provides additional comfort. Overall, this is a smart boot with a 5" shaft and fine detailed micro-seude binding.

Madison UGG

UGG's iconic silhouette has received a modern recast this year with metal grommet details and a wedge sole. In many ways the Madison UGG Boot is similar to the Riley UGG Boot, but it has a taller shaft of 8 inches. It has all the same features: Made from Suede with side pull tabs and the metal grommet details. The arch support is present and the typical UGG Pure insole and Treadlite outsole are the same. Suitable for wear in a many circumstances, but why not try it with a swing dress for a fun little lift.
