The benefits of goats milk soap-Tips to choose the most natural ones.

Updated on August 28, 2012

Is your skin irrated by eczema, psoriassis or dermatitis? well. I can hear your cry's for help and there is a cure my friend. I have sensitive skin and have suffered with eczema for 10 years and I'm a true believer in using natural skin care products. My condition started from using a body wash brand from a supermarket. I no longer buy these I look for alternatives such as goats milk, which is Australian Made!

Goats milk soaps

Are the most natural soaps that are closest to homemade ingredients. You can find they are also organic skincare. which is suitable for people with sensitive skin, eczema, Psoriassis and dermatitis. I use billie goats soap it's the best in Australia, goats products are great for everyday use. Most of these contain, NO COLOUR, NO FRAGRANCE, fresh goats milk, skin loving oils, No synthetic preservatives, No sodium lauryl surphate, No parabens, No propylene glycol and 'I love No' animal testing.

(If your looking for goats milk soap you may want to try some below)

How to eliminate poor soap ingredients

Rule number one, never shop at supermarkets as they don't always source reliable skin care products like chemists do. Look around and find a product you believe in and try for yourself. Frequently price can be an issue so do compare online and in store.

Today our lives are busy, so usually looking at the ingredients on our beauty products aren't a priority. But when you have skin conditions it's a must.

'Over 10,000 synthetic and natural chemicals are stirred in your personal care products and less than 20% are tested for safety'. So always looking at the ingredients on the label, which is located on the back of the product and eliminate these poor ingredients in our soaps and beauty products. What I try to avoid are things like Synthetic Fragrances, Parabens and Phthalates. Some of these kinds of chemicals which are often tucked away under fragrance, perfume and alcohol so avoiding Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES),Cocomidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, DMDM Hydantoin, Methyl, Propyl, Butyl, Ethyl Paraben, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Diazolidinyl Urea, Petrolatum/Mineral Oil, Propylene Glycol and Triethanolamine.

Did you know?

Sensitive skin has a low tolerance level to certain products or environmental conditions. People with sensitive skin may react quickly to chemicals, heat or wind by developing red, blotchy and irritated skin. Different people have different levels of skin sensitivity. Some people may react to a product, while for others it produces no effect. Similarly, some people may have a very severe reaction, while others only have a mild reaction.

With sensitive skin it's the irration of chemials in the products we use (as above) which can be irritating your skin and not even know it because irritation, more often than not, doesn’t show up on the surface of skin, taking place beneath the skin’s surface and causing damage, mutating skin cells, destroying collagen, making large pores and oily skin.

Just this morning I was looking online for a soap without SLS, so you can imagine how happy I am to have found your hub! I will look into the soaps right now, as I will soon be placing an order with Amazon anyway. I do have sensitive skin so this sounds like the perfect soap. Thanks so much!

Interesting hub. I have sensitive skin too that was brought on by using a certain fragrance which I can never use again. Since then I have to be ultra careful about what I use on my skin.
