Benefits of Oiling Hair

Well I have been oiling my hair ever since I was a small kid and believe me it has always been very soothing and relaxing for me. Whenever I oiled my hair and massaged my scalp, I felt light and all my tensions faded away in minutes. Moreover oiling made my hair shinny and strong. I have been using coconut and olive oil since I was a kid and now I have long, shiny and thick volume of hair. But it’s my experience of oiling for a long time and I was advised to oil my hair by my mother regularly.

Oiling does really affect our hair if done properly. As oiling hair prevents breakage, add to hair strength, length, shine, it helps to stimulate circulation of blood in body, brings nutrition to scalp nourish hair and reduce hair fall. On the other hand Oiling hair gives a light massage to scalp which results in soothing relaxed feeling, help preventing headache and after having oil massage to hair we can enjoy a relaxed sound sleep. Oiling hair gives huge and healthy benefits and affects so I recommend to oil hair regularly.

Benefits of Oiling before Bath

Now I want to discuss when and how to oil our hair to have best tremendous results.

Well oiling hair for long hours and wearing oil in Sun is not recommended because it not healthy. Oil does provide a protective layer to the hair but it also block healthy vitamins reaching through day light. Oiling scalp directly has also bad effect as it may interfere with natural oil issues of the body which will cause hair loss. And wearing oil in sun will make extremely harmful as heat and oil together will make hair completely dry. The hair roots will become weak by it and ultimately hair will break.

Time to Oil Hair

Now I want to share the best time and method of oiling hair. We should oil our hair two hours before bathing as its sufficient time for hair to absorb all the nutrients within it. And after two hour take a bath with quality shampoo, it oil will be washed away out of hair leaving its shine and nutrients absorbed. Oil hair at least once a week for better results twice. Oil act like a moisturizer to hair, people who have dry and rough hair texture should apply Oil more often

Method of Oiling

Act on these simple steps to oil your hair to have best affect..

  1. Take a towel and spread it on your shoulder.
  2. Now Take a little quantity of oil in hand and apply it gently on a layer of hair.
  3. Repeat it layer by layer on hair.
  4. When all your hair is oiled properly, start massaging them gently.
  5. Massage your scalp along with your hair.
  6. Use your finger tips to massage your hair.
  7. Massage for at least half an hour and then relax for two hours.

If worked on these instructions properly hair will become healthier and will shine. Don’t go in Sun light wearing oil.

      Olive oil is best but you can also use coconut oil as well for its nutrition value

      I've read through but what oil do you mean? (Olive oil, Argan oil I would think) for those that really don't have a clue I advise to include what types of oil can be used.
