Perfume Mania

I am sure everyone in their life has once shop for perfume. For perfume lover it’s really important to have perfume in your daily make up schedule. Perfume has a great deal of role in our daily life and activities. Perfume has instant power of elevating your mood. Of course main purpose of the perfume to stay fresh all day in midst of all hard work, stress, toil at your work. Starting from Cleopatra to Celine Dion, everyone has their own scent. Origin of perfume has lot of background and descends from Greece, Rome, India, and Middle East. Today what we get in the market is research and combination of all these origin. Although it went through lot of renovation in different stage but the key ingredients of the perfume are still the same like essential oil and ‒ hand-picked jasmine, roses, frankincense resin, lilies and honey etc. Different parts of the world has their unique contribution in fragrance industries, like rose essences from Bulgaria, irises from Florence and tuberose, jasmine from India, of course Paris the paradise of perfume has its own unique contributions.

Perfume Dilemma-Only perfume I remember is coffee bean

Ask any women about their favorite pastime. I think 70% will instantly say shopping. But trust me sometimes shopping experience can be distressing and confusing, especially if you spend so many hours of digging into things and find out at your home, it’s not the best what you chose. That is what it exactly happen if you are naïve about perfume shopping and want to go shop for it at the spur of the moment. Using your nose, attention, and brain for navigating each every perfume is not at all an easy task. Especially when you are investing such amount of time and money, if you don’t like the product at the end of the day, you will be really upset. Also like clothing and style, and makeup, perfume also reflect the person or your personality. Well given the huge array of selection, from top brand, top celebrity and seller’s choice, it is really hard in limited shopping time to pick up the best perfume for yourself or your loved one. We know some people would love to stick with their same perfume others try to explore new perfume, or choose perfume depending on the occasion.

Now the real dilemma comes here, if you try to personalize your choice, you have to get the best perfume. So that you can use this as your signature scent. Not all perfume reflect the person you are. Now not just that, the most confusing thing to choose the best perfume is that you become nose blind or in more real term you get olfactory fatigue. To better explain this, when we smell something for long, we get accustomed to it, or we cannot differentiate them so easily. That is the reason we have those coffee bean in all perfume shop. But to be honest coffee bean usually does not help that much. According to some researcher once the sensor in the brain gets the stimulus from scent it capture and try to memorize it. It can do this for 2-3 consecutive perfume, not after that. As the sensor get blocked with chemical it cannot switch so fast and it will be impossible for us to detect the next set of smell. So by any means your brain cannot smell the perfume you’re checking consecutively. So that is the reason we usually chose the perfume which we smell earlier or the one which we smelled later, not the middle one. Best thing to do deal with this dilemma is to shop for perfume for few several days, not just one day. The other way to deal with this take a sample for the perfume you liked, usually Sephora happily pack you the small perfume in little bottle for free. Use that, feel it judge it and see how your body is responding to this smell. As physiologist say that we smell different in different mood, so using perfume on all those mood, even change the smell of the perfume you are using it. So it’s really tricky to get yourself a real perfect perfume.
