Product Review: Clinique Redness Solutions Daily Relief Cream
I've got a skin disorder called, Keratosis Pilaris. This disorder causes a lot of redness and dry skin. I've searched for a lot of items that could possibly help reduce the redness to make it a more natural look. I've heard Clinique is a good brand and it was recommended to me by multiple people. I am using this cream without the cleanser. I used this relief cream by itself for two weeks. I applied it by my hands. I would wash my hands first of course then I would use a little bit on my finger tips and rub it in.
After the first use, I noticed this stuff does go a long way. I was kind of frustrated at first, since I had to spend about $50.00USD on this stuff and it came in such a small container. When I first opened it, you can tell it does have a very light green tint to it. Which does makes sense, because green is the color you look for to counteract redness. I applied a small amount to one of my cheeks. I noticed right away that this stuff is very hydrating. My face felt like smooth baby skin.
The redness was pretty bad when I first applied it, but I did not notice a difference at all. I waited for a good 20 minutes and the redness was still there. I decided that it may improve over time. I kept applying it in the morning and after work when I got home. After a week or so, my face was really hydrated. The redness did fade a little but not entirely. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this stuff at about a 5. I would never by this again. There ae other products on the market that hydrate my face the same way this stuff does that is cheaper.
