Product Review: Clinique Redness Solutions Foundation
It is hard to find a make up that goes on lightly, but also helps with redness. I've tried a CC cream and some BB creams and nothing came close to the one I did find for the category. It sucks, because the one I did find got discontinued. We all hate that! Since that happened, I had to continue my search to find a light foundation that works for redness. I have tried using green primer, but I don't have a half an hour to spare to put on a lot of make up. I was on the search for something that I could apply on easily that gives decent coverage.
I applied this foundation first with my fingers, which I will never do again. This gives it a fake look of coverage and it is hard to blend. Always wash your hands well before applying any type of make up, because it does cause acne. I did some research and found that the beauty blender is recommended all over the place, so I decided to grab one of those. I applied it with the beauty blender and it went on lightly and beautifully.
As you can see in the picture above, I found a good job finding the right shade for me and it also gives a more natural look applying it on lightly. It doesn't give it the fake look. I do have some flaws on my face, I ain't gunna lie about that. This foundation did a great job at improving my skin tone. Now I am currently on the search for a cleanser for redness and a lotion. There's days that you don't want to wear make up to let your skin breathe as much as possible. This helps reduce acne quite a bit. Also, this foundation doesn't make my skin dry, but I do apply a moisturizer at night then I just apply the foundation in the morning. I haven't had an issue with dryness. 1 to 5 star rating, I give this foundation 4 stars.
