Jessica loves all things creative in the world of entertainment, crafting, and cosmetics.

I am not in any affiliated with Estee Lauder, I am just a consumer of their products.

Over the last couple of years, I have been slowly transition my skincare routine to high-end products. I have a couple products from Estee Lauder that I love so I couldn't wait to finish up the day cream I was using to try something from Estee Lauder. Lucky for me, Ulta was doing a special and I was able to get 2 jars for the price of one. This got really good reviews on a couple different sites and so I thought I would give it a try.

I am almost done with my second jar and wanted to write a review of my experience.

Purchasing

This day cream costs about $34.00-$54.00 depending on the size (1 or 1.7 oz jar). It can be bought most places where Estee Lauder Products are sold, such as, Ulta, Sephora, Amazon, and department store.

This is from Estee Lauder's Daywear line of products which consists of this cream, as well an an oil-free SPF 25 version, an eye gel creme, and a couple other items. This is the only product in the line I have tried

I bought two 1oz jars at Ulta last fall when they were doing the 21 days of beauty, so I got jars for the price of one.

Packaging

When you purchase this, it will come in Estee Lauder's signature baby blue box. It will come in a glass jar with that signature gold lid.

Claim

The claim is that the anti-oxidants and broad spectrum sunscreen will protect your skin against the signs of premature aging and diminish their appearance. It will hydrate your skin and help with fine lines and wrinkles over time and make skin look and feel smoother, fresher, and healthier instantly. It is formulated for normal, combination, and dry skin and won't clog pores.

Application

This comes in a jar so I always use clean hands before getting the product. I don't mind a jar, but I know some people would prefer something else, such as a pump bottle.

It has blueish green tint and it has a light, clean, and refreshing scent. It is very moisturizing, yet lightweight.

The directions say to use it AM and PM after the repair serum. I only applied this in the day time because it has an SPF and I use a different cream in the in evening. I often wear an anti-aging serum underneath this for extra benefits.

The Verdit

I don't hate it, but I don't love it. The smell is just a little too much for me and I find myself not looking forward to using this product. It makes my skin look good and I haven't had any adverse reactions to it. I don't find this very expensive compared to other products, but I feel a product from the drugstore could perform just as well for a little less money.

When I run out of this, I am planning on purchasing Estee Lauder's Revitalizing Supreme+ Global Anti-Aging Cell Power Creme SPF 15. I use the version of that without the SPF and I love it.
