Review of Sinful Professional Nail Polish Colors

Updated on May 25, 2012

I have enjoyed Sinful's Professional nail polish line since I first found out about the product while at the drugstore two years ago. The polish is low-cost and stays on for several days without chipping. I own three colors and of them all, only one didn't work out the way I wanted it to. The price costs between $.99 to $1.99 per bottle. You can't beat it when you're looking for a fun way to change up your fashion and beauty routine.

Sinful nail polish color choices range from bright blue to neon orange. I recommend any of the brighter shades when you need a bit of color to lighten up your mood. The three shades that I own are Cream Pink, Hazard and Glass Pink. Hazard can best be described as a bright coral shade. Coral is one of the hottest hues in the beauty world, at the time of press. My other favorite, Cream Pink, produces a bright almost neon hue but it doesn't contain the exact right colors for me to label it as such. I love this shade on my toes when I'm looking to stand out but not to the point where I give off a “pop star” vibe. When I'm in the mood to get my hands noticed I paint on two coats of this hue.

What You Need to Know

I didn't like the Glass Pink shade at all when I applied it over another color by a nail polish line called Pure Ice. The polish leaked off the brush before I could fully coat my nails with it. The shade was too “winter” for summer and it wasn't dry two hours after I applied it. The polish started to peel off my nails. I wouldn't recommend this color and I'm not sure if it was a bad batch or a not good consistency because I haven't run into this problem with Sinful's nail polish line before.

Important Information

The size of a bottle of Sinful nail polish is 0.5 ounces and it is free of toluene, formaldehyde and DPV. Over 60 different colors are available in variations of pink, orange, blue, purple, brown, silver, gold, gray, black and white. The shades stand out the best when you apply two coats as opposed to one. Mine stayed on for five days and only started chipping when my nails started to grow out. Apply a clear topcoat for extra protection and staying power. Find Sinful's nail polish bottles at Walgreens, CVS, Amazon and Ebay.

Danielle - Thanks for your comment and for your honest opinion about Sinful's nail polish line. I have not had a problem with nail polish leaking onto my finger nails but would love to know if anyone else has.

I bought this product when it was a 2 for 1 sale. Now I know why. The colour selection is fun and bright. However, when I applied it to the nails it went to matte finish. The colour has then seeped into my nail enamel. NOT IMPRESSED
