Sea Salt to Help Benefit Your Skin

Updated on February 15, 2013

Sea salt can be a natural way to keep your skin healthy and glowing. Wheather you use it on your face alone or on your whole body, it will be sure to benefit your skin.

How Sea Salt Differs From Regular Salt

Unlike regular table salt, sea salt does not go through the same manufacturing process. Sea salt is obtained by evaporating water from oceans and saline lakes. This process leaves the salts behind. Sea salt contains many minerals that can aid in nourishing our skin. Some but not all these minerals include zinc, magnesium, and vitamin A.

Treating Your Skin with Sea Salt

If you have dry dead skin, sea salt can be a great natural way to treat that. Either on your face or body, sea salt will remove unwanted dead skin and help nourish it. Helping you to achieve soft smooth skin.

Very simple recipes and I'm very interested to try them. I've already discovered the benefits of using sea salt when cooking. One question: what type of aloe do you use? Thanks! Voted up and awesome.

Great Hub! I'll have to try some of these. I'm particularly intrigued by the aloe and sea salt for acne...I'm in my late 20's and still break out like a 16 year old!
