How to look pretty in pictures without over-reacting a lot

Updated on October 6, 2011

How to do it!

If you are the type of person that likes to take pictures for entertainment then here is some advice on how to turn your appearance from boring into fabulous so get ready to learn how to get that best picture for your profile and when your done click the camera and say cheese:)

First and foremost this is important if you really want to look different and good!

Bat those lashes!

To begin with have you ever looked at pictures from different people and you notice that the focal point of pictures is always the eyes nothing else so to better your eyes its best to make them pop! so that way your eyes wont look small or weird. When you take a picture of yourself make sure to go for a natural look you can either wear neutral colors with cream or taupe eyeshadow another type of colors you can add to your eyes if you are looking for fun are colors that are not that strong. Add eyeliner to line the eyes, curl your eyelashes first before putting the mascara so that way your eyelashes wont tear or damage.

Whiten your teeth!!!

Another thing that is important when taking pictures is your smile, the mouth, and your teeth that is what makes a lasting impression on others to be able to do this rinse your toothbrush well with hydrogen peroxide the result is it lightens your own teeth and makes them more whiter and taking off mouth germs.

For your lips

Playing with colors is always a fun thing to do so when it comes to the lips you got to not be afraid to discover more of what is out there in make-up. Lip-gloss always looks best as a highlighter to the lips the way to apply lip-gloss properly on your lips is by starting in the inner corner of the lips and going all the way to the top of the lip mountain that's how I call it since it is shaped like a mountain at the top. If it's not Halloween stay off of body glitter or anything else that can prevent you from appearing weird or out of focus.

Use fabric that weighs less

Have you ever taken a picture before with heavy weight clothes and then you feel that the camera you were using had a lot of weight then maybe the answer would have to be on the clothes you are wearing while on the picture What to wear: lighter, matte materials made with cotton, silk or Lycra. What not to wear: bulk-adding sequins, corduroy, terry cloth, flannel, taffeta, velvet and angora sweaters. Making a good decision on what type of clothing fabric is best can prove your chances of coming out in the picture best.

Great looking legs

To help your feet stay in shape try wearing high heels for the day high heels not only help you look confident and good but they can also have some benefit for your feet by shaping them and your hips can look curvier. Wearing shoes that compliment with your skin color can make your legs appear longer than they are. Another thing is if you have a pretty pedi just show it off by going without shoes you will seem more approachable in that way.

And finally..........

Make your pictures seem that its all about you, show off your personality express yourself in the picture don't be afraid to think outside the box its about you and you should not have to worry about what other people are going to say just be yourself don't try to be someone you are not just to get attention.
