Shampoo Your Hair the Right Way
How to Shampoo Your Hair The Right Way
When it comes to shampooing, conditioning and blow drying your hair, most of you guys and gals would think and say, "What's the difference?" However, there is a difference in up keeping your hair and I will give you pointers on how to make your clean and beautiful as a sunny day!
First, let's start with a shampoo. Get your hair soaking wet. Now, the wrong way to shampoo is to take mega shampoo and to develop a rich lather, like you would see somebody wash their hair in a TV commercial. Building up a heavy, astronomical lather will only dry out your hair. If you have thick hair, you can put it in a silver dollar size.
Massage the shampoo with the pads of your fingers. Unless you have short hair, bend over and gently massage the undersides. Rinse completely until the water runs clear.
Now, you're ready for a conditioner. The right way to condition, is to take a silver dollar size blob and first coat the ends of your hair. Then, coat the hair shaft. Never put conditioner on the scalp since the scalp excretes natural oils. If you have dry brittle hair, you can leave the conditioner in as long as an hour. When you rinse, make sure that the conditioner is all the way out of your hair. You don't want to get the greasies. And there you go, simple Simon.
If your hair is dry or normal, put in some hair serum. I recommend Frizz Ease sold in major drug stores because it tames the frizz, making your hair protected from dryness and your tresses soft and shiny. Use on dripping wet hair.
If you blow dry your hair, blow dry it only until it is damp. Blow drying until it is completely dry will damage it.
If you have dry hair, a hot oil treatment is a must every other week.
And you're finished!
Happy Hair Day!
