Silka Papaya Soap Lightens Skin Tone Naturally

Papaya for the skin in the form of soaps and lotions has long been used by women in Asian countries, resulting in finer and lighter skin tones.

Along with other brands tested for review, silka papaya soap is among the many kinds of soaps that can be used to gently exfoliate and lighten rough and dark skin tones.

Silka has two variants:

  • Silka Orange papaya line is a natural and effective way to cleanse and whiten the skin. Its papaya enzyme helps eliminate dead skin cells for a brighter, younger-looking skin. Its moisturizing properties make skin softer and smoother.
  • Silka Green papaya line contains more potent papaya enzymes that makes the skinn whitening process faster. Formulated with Vitamin E and Provitamin B5, it also protects the skin from harmful effects of pollution and stress.

Having tried both the orange and green Silka Papaya Soaps, then comparing them with other papaya soaps, I'd say that there isn't much difference between one brand or the other in terms of exfoliation or lightening.

What I did notice, though, is that most papaya soaps have a certain smell to it that may not at all be appealing.

Silka's papaya soap is more fragrant than others and if you prefer to smell more floral than fruity, I highly recommend that you go for Silka rather than the other brands.

I use the green papaya silka & it's doing WONDERS for me. So much better than Likas brand. Kind of disgusting... But the amount of skin that comes off in EVERY shower clogs it. I need to clean/wipe off after EVERY time. It coats the tub, gross but love that I'm seeing results so quickly.
