My Review

I wanted to try a face wash cleaning cloth instead of a facewash. I'd heard about the Simple brand on YouTube from various Make-up gurus in hauls and favorites videos.

I purchased the Simple "sensitive Skin Experts" oil balancing cleansing wipes. I have never used a face wash wipe before. I have combination skin and I prefer cream cleansers for combination skin. I usually wash my face twice a day, once in the morning when I'm taking a shower and at the end of the day before I go to bed. I wanted to try face wash wipes to have something that was quick and easy to use during summer when you just need to quickly wash your face on a hot day.

The product says it contains no alcohol and it safe to use for sensitive skin. It's not supposed to irritate your skin. When I gave one to a friend to try she said it smelled like suntan lotion, which I think it does have an aloe smell (like that green gel you put on when you have a sunburn). Overall I didn't find the scent overwhelming and it does fade away after you use the cloth on your face.

It doesn't really leave a residue on your skin, but I also don't feel like it got my face exceptionally clean. I sometimes get a lot of oil buildup especially in my t-zone and I feel like the cloth just kind of rubs the oil around instead of removing it. It was easy to rip the cloth when using it and I didn't really like the texture, I would prefer something more exfoliating.

I really missed the feeling you get when washing my face with water and face-wash soap - I just didn't get that super clean feeling with these. I was not wearing makeup so I cannot comment on how it removed that.

Overall I would say they were average, but I would not purchase these again. I used a few of the wipes and then gave the remainder of the package to my mom to try.

I purchased this pack containing 25 wipes at Target for $4.99
