Some Beauty tips : The use of Eyeliner and of Nail polish

Updated on March 19, 2014

Choosing an Eyeliner

When choosing an eyeliner, we have to dig into several factors like the color ,texture and mode of the application that we want. It comes in either a pencil or liquid application. For instance if you have blonde hair ,it is better to use a brown eyeliner for casual wear. If you have black hair, use black eyeliner on a regular basis. This type is the easiest to control and apply close to the lashline. If you want a smeared, blurred effect, use an eyeliner pencil. They are a bit chunkier and apply thicker lines than liquid eye.

What are some information about the eyeliner?

In the early 10.000 BC ,over 12 thousands year ago, eyeliner first appeared in Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia. Both males and females used eyeliner to better define their eyes and protect them from wrinkles that can be accumulated after regular exposure to desert wind, sun and heat. Though eyeliners were one of many cosmetic products that were used by them, they never went out of fashion and lasted to be used by both aristocracy and lower class. Eyeliners symbolized a connotation to religion and God. As millennia's went and architecture changed with them, eyeliner fashion stayed constant, improving from decades until now .

Putting on regular makeup.

We tend to fail when putting eyeliner after mascara and eye shadow. The best way is to apply the eyeliner over eyeshade but before mascara. First step is to put over some foundation, blush and eye shadow( according to the selection of the colors.) before moving to the eyeliner application. To keep your eye makeup lasting for a longer period of time, you should use an eye shadow primer before. Make sure to rub the primer near the lash line where the eyeliner will be set. The farthest easiest way to pose to put the eyeliner is when you move your head back and use your hand to stretch the sink of the outside part of your eye. Then you should raise your eyebrows so that your eyelid doesn't block your lash line at all. You can create small dotted line on your upper eyelid, making sure that the dots are close to the base of the eyelid. Then you connect the dots ,drawing a straight line instead of one continuous line. You should begin drawing at the inside corner of your eye and end at the outer corner. There are different drawings at the end of the outer corner, some women like the double line or cat line, others prefer to be a single one.

Finishing the line

Connect the dots ,drawing a straight line instead of one continuous line. You should begin drawing at the inside corner of your eye and end at the outer corner. There are different lines at the end of the outer corner, some women like the doubled line or cat line, others prefer to be a single one. You have to make sure that each dot has been connected and that the ends of the line are narrowed toward one end instead of being rounded dot.

Eyes are definitely the part of our face that is very influenced to cosmetic changed. Even the small change or color or shape can enhance our look and boost our confidence. Fashion style expanded to all four corners of the world, managing to become primary part of the modern world. The eyeliner is by now the most important cosmetic that can give a dramatically look without much time or effort but if you don't have the experience of putting, you will not have the best results. Whether you choose a soft line or a dramatic stroke you can make more attractive the windows to your soul by spending few minutes in front of a mirror with an eyeliner pencil.

Keeping up with your nails

Your nude manicure has turned yellow? That's bad news, there is nothing to do but wipe the polish off and start fresh. The good news is that you can prevent discoloration in the future. The resins that give nail lacquer its shiny finish tend to yellow in sunlight .You have to look at topcoats with UV protection and reapply you topcoat every other day. Nails require lot of care, sometimes we can't pamper them by going to the salon every other week, so the best answer is to can get the salon look at home.

Though the practice of nail art can be traced back thousands of years in many cultures, nail art is becoming an increasingly popular fashion according to many cultures. Simple patterns are possible with just two different colored polishes ,making nail adornment an interesting way to accessorize. Once you have learned some basic nail art techniques, let your creativity run wild and develop your own distinctive designs. Techniques are easily found through the internet ,magazines, TV, etc. To design the nails is not as easy as it seems but with a little bit of practice, you can create thousands of designs But first and most important is how to keep your nails in a good shape and a healthy aspect . We tend not to think about the daily day's damages that can cause to our nails, from the excess use of water, to cooking, cleaning and so on. That's why there are few steps to take in consideration to keep up with beautiful nails. Everyone likes clean, well- manicured and polished nails. Though most people are unaware of the fact that nails need a good treatment. We can think of eating healthy food which is important for our nails as for the vital organs of our bodies. These food has to include certain vitamins, minerals and other nutrients that can keep strong nails.

First and most important is to remove nail varnish. We have to take off any nail residues left from last time ,specially if we had a strong nail polish before. To keep our nails healthy, we have to let them breath. It is necessary to avoid nail varnish ,especially when people have layer of nail varnish on top of another color. This is extremely unhealthy and bad for the nails. Remember to stick to a remover that has acetate in it. After this step, start by trimming your nails. Doing this will prevent your nails from tearing and becoming unhealthy . Ragged and chipped edges will promote breakage, so try to keep them even. Then you can shape your nails with a filter, depending on the shape that you like. Then wash your hands so to remove anything that is stuck in your nails, that is to say give you nails a little treatment from time to time. Last, Moisturize hands and nails keep the nails hydrated and leaves cuticles looking perfect and soft. You can either use body lotion, hand cream or cuticle oil.

Polishing your Nails

1.Apply a clear base coat to your nail and allow them to dry fully.

2.Paint your nails with your chosen base color

3. Use a toothpick to remove any stray

4.Apply a clear coat top to bend the colors together before your design(if you have any) has dried. The nails shiny and last longer.
