Do you want to buy swimsuites that not only match your sense of style and design but also flatters your body type and accentuates your best assets? Well it's not at all hard, as long as you follow the right tips. You don't need to sacrifice design for comfort or a great cut for style. All you need to do is know what you need to know about different swimsuits.

The first thing you need to know about swimsuites is the trends that come and go. Prints on swimsuits are trendy, ones with polka dots, plaid designs, stripes, flowers, and other prints. Different colors are in fashion at different times, choose a color that goes with the summer, since usually these are the best options. Other details can be popular amongst swimsuits like riffles, embroidery, and other extras.

There are several different designs for swimsuits for you to choose from. Of course, there are the regular one-pieces that cover the important places, but there are also two pieces and others. If you prefer one-pieces but you want to feel sexy, then monokinis or maillots are probably best for you. These are one-pieces that have pieces cut out of them or are halter-necked or one shouldered.

If you want to have a two piece swimsuit, then there are many kinds of two-pieces for you to choose from. The bikini is the predecessor of all two-pieces. It started thirty years ago and has bee innovated often in order to fit the fashion. There are tankinis which are bikinis which have shirt-like tops. Bandinis are bikinis with bandeau tops and camikinis have tops like camisoles.

There are accessories that you can add to swimsuites like sarongs, which are fabrics that you can use to tie around your waist into a skirt or around your body to create a small dress-like cover up. You can put board shorts over your bottom to cover up your legs. When you're at the beach, no one likes to wear shoes, so get a great pear of flip flops for the beach.

When choosing a swimsuit, remember to choose on that flatters your body. If you have a small bust, then you should get a halter or triangle top bikini. Light colors and embellishments on the top help add more depth to the top of your body. Also, push up bra type bikini tops help as well.

If you have a larger bust, then you definitely need a bikini top that offers support. Stripes and bandeaus can help bring attention away from your top and make it look flat. If you have short legs, then high riding bottoms will help make your legs look longer.

Remember to choose a swimsuit that best fits your style and will make your body look great. Don't sacrifice anything and look for the best swimsuites for you and you'll definitely find it as long as you don't settle for second best. Play up your strengths and mask your weaknesses so on the beach you can feel comfortable and stylish.

Well written hub. I think prints make you look bigger. Iam big on the top and have a hard time findng bathing suites that fit right. I have g-children and don't want to be hanging out. Tanktop styles seem to work better for me. The straps have to be the wide ones.
