The Best Lipliner?

Updated on May 29, 2013

You can't beat the use of a good lip liner. They set the lips, stop lipstick working its way of the top line of your lips and help to define the shape of the lips. I always recommend them to clients - and always use one myself, as they're just as useful and commonly used as an eyebrow pencil, for similar reasons.

If you want a few lip liner tips ... here goes: never use one that's too dark - you're not drawing a line to fill in as you would a picture on paper! Always use one that blends well with your lipstick or lip gloss.

Always apply it before you apply lipstick - never after. Start at the top center, working down the lip, same the other side and below - keep to your natural lip line. Top tip: keep it cold - pop it in the fridge - or store it there period. Featured blow are the five best lip liners - for luscious lips!
