I've grown out and chopped my hair soo many times. By now I know how speed up the growing process.

Typically hair is supposed to grow about half an inch every month. These methods I'm about to tell you helped my hair grow 1 inch every month. Again, everyone is biologically different.

  • No Heating Styling Tools

Blow dryers, curling wands, flat irons. Put these down or greatly limit the usage. The heat damages hair. Let your hair dry natural.

  • Stay away from hair dye

Wait until your hair has reached your desire length before you start dying & highlighting again. Dye has so many harsh chemicals. It dries out and makes your hair brittle.

  • Don't tie your hair back

Pulling your hair back into pony tails, buns etc. Does exactly what it sounds like, it pulls your hair. Loosens the roots.

  • Mane N Tail Shampoo

This shampoo helps with thickening hair. It's supposed to help hair grow. I've used it for years. It's used on horses manes.

  • Hair Nail Skin Vitamin

I started using this vitamin to help with my hair growth and it really does help hair grow faster. I think it's better than pure Biotin pills. This vitamin also helped clear my acne up when I was in high school. Biotin pills on the other hand broke me out.

  • Fish Oil Supplement Pills

No it doesn't taste like fish. These pills are fantastic for hair health. Any kind of fish in general is really good for hair because of the Omegas in it. So you can eat Tuna and it will help as well.

  • Protein

Load up on your protein. Protein helps hair growth and helps you with weight management.

  • Exercise

We should all be exercising anyways, but if you aren't you may want to start because it helps blood circulation, helps you sleep, which helps with proper diet.

  • Hot Oil Hair Treatment

Heat up some oil and massage it into your scalp. Coconut Oil is the best. Olive Oil is also good. It helps with dryness, split ends, and the massage helps stimulate your scalp.

  • Sunlight / Vitamin D

Sunlight is great for Vitamin D. Your skin and hair soak it up.

I agree with this list, I live in the tropics and my hair grows so fast. I don't use a curling iron or tongs either. I think your list shows how to maximize hair growth without it breaking. I was glad to see you mention protein as I believe a lot of hair problems are diet related.
