Top 10 Skincare Products

Updated on July 27, 2017

I have been trying to find the best skincare for the last year and I think I have found my top ten skincare products that I highly recommend to you. It has change my acne, and helped my scars. My face feels soft and beautiful.

#1 The Right Tools

Using a clarisonic has change my skin, tremendously. It's clearer, brighter, softer. It deep cleans my pores. You can buy different brush heads, for your cleaning needs. I haven't tried other brushes, but I think using a face brush can make a huge difference.

#2 Make up Remover

I used to just use make up wipes or coconut oil to remove my make up. But I felt like the make up wipes didn't get all the make up off. The coconut oil seemed to be clogging my pores, and creating more break-outs. I received a free trial size of Purity facial cleanser by Philosophy and I was hooked. It's so gentle you can even use it on your eyes to remove your eye make up. It so hydrating, it can be used on all skin types.

#3 Cleanser

This Cleanser has changed my life. It has improved my skin so much, that I no longer think I can live with out it. After I remove my makeup with the purity wash. I use the Peter Thomas Roth Irish Moor Mud Cleansing Gel on my Clairsonic and wash my face. At first I purchased the small travel size version of it, because I was unsure if I would like it, and I did not want to spend the money and have this big bottle of cleanser that I didn't like. After the first wash I was in love. The travel size lasted about a month, when washing my face twice a day. So I bought another travel size. I just wanted to make sure it really worked, after two months, I still loved it and bought the bigger version.

#4 Toner

Toner is so important. It gets your skin ready for any other product you put on it. It makes your skin a sponge and helps soak in any moisturizer or wrinkle cream you put on after. I was getting facials done by this women who swore the Exuviance skin care changed her life. So she talked me into buying the face wash, toner, moisturizer and a few other products. Well after a couple hundred dollars, unfortunately Exuviance just didn't work for me. I changed everything else but kept the toner. I thought a toner is a toner and I spent $32 on the Exuviance toner and I wanted to use it up. When I started changing everything. I started finding products that really worked for me. I decided to try a new toner. I did some research and saw many good reviews on the Mario Badescu glycolic acid toner. It helps exfoliate your skin with the glycolic acid. It claims to improve acne scars, pigmentation, wrinkles, and build up. I tried it and never looked back. My skin is clearer and brighter. I have learned how wonderful glycolic acid is for my skin. Plus it's cheaper than the Exuviance toner. So it's a win/win.

#5 Moisturizer

I had been using a Lancome moisturizer since I can remember. I wanted to change it up, so I tried the Exuviance Day Creme, it made me break out. So I tried the Tarte drink of H20 hydrating boost of moisturizer and it was okay. So I tried the Pacifica Kale Luxe Oil-free cream. It was nice, but it wasn't moisturizing. Then I was recommended the Philosophy Renewed Hope in a Jar and it is AMAZING! It's a game changer and it is my ride or die moisturizer. I didn't know I would love a moisturizer so much. I love the smell, I love the feel, and it has the glycolic acid in it that helps with acne, scars, and wrinkles. It is worth every penny. It is absolutely amazing.

#6 Ance Treatment

I have tried A LOT of acne spot treatments in my life but hands down the best I've tried is the Mario Badescu drying lotion. It is worth all the hype. It doesn't magically get rid of your pimples in a day. But they are definitely dramatically smaller.

#7 Hydration

If you have dry skin, wrinkled skin, or you have troubles with pigmentation if you use a product with Hyaluronic Acid, it will help put moister into your skin and help keep it in your skin. We naturally have hyaluronic acid in our bodies. If we have dry skin and as we age we lose the amount of hyaluronic acid we have. If you notice it is the new wonder product. It's in everything, face wash, moisterizer, creams, primers and foundation. It works wonderfully for me. I use the one I use is by dermalogica. It is called Skin Hydrating Booster.

#8 Face Mask

I loved the Peter Thomas Roth Irish Moor Mud cleansing gel, so I decided to try the Peter Thomas Roth Irish Moor Mud Mask. It's a game changer. I put it on for 10 minutes and washed it off before I went to bed. The next morning my skin looked clearer, healthier, the acne I had looked smaller, and healed. My poors looked smaller and my skin looked brighter. It is so good, it's like it's magic. I could not believe my eyes how wonderful my skin looked. I now use it every other day, and it is my holy grail product.

#9 Black Head Face Mask

I have fallen in love with Philosophy. So I decided to try the Purity Pore Extractor Exfoliating Mask. This helps with my black head. It claims to get rid of black heads after two uses. I wouldn't say two uses, but I use it 2-3 times a week and it does help remove the black heads and shrinks the pores.

#10 Facial Sprays

There is something about a facial spray. I love the way it feels on my face. My new favorite facial spray is the Mario Badescu Facial spray with Aloe and Rose water. It smells good, it feels good. It is probably one of the cheapest facial sprays out there. I have tried many and this one has to be my favorite. It's hydrating and it the perfect ending to a complete face.
