7 Must-Have Shoes and Sneakers That Will Never Go Out Of Style

Updated on July 31, 2012

You can always tell a lot about a person from looking at the shoes on his feet. This is why I created this hub on shoes that will never go out of style. Choosing any of the shoes on this list will automatically add points to your “coolness meter”. They may not make you THE coolest, that my friend is up to you.

Nike Air Force One's

The Nike Air Force One is an all around classic in terms of style. These shoes have made a huge impact on urban culture. To this day, the Air Force One is seen on the feet of young kids, teens and even adults. If you ask me, you can never go wrong with a pair of solid whites or solid blacks.

Timberland has always been a very reputable brand, being one of the leading sources of work boots and also a fashion icon. The classic 6 inch Timberland boots are always a good choice for the winter time, providing great quality and durability as well as style.

Chuck Taylors

Chuck Taylors or “Chucks” have always been a classic and will remain a classic for years to come. The navy blue classics and the all blacks are still seen worn by kids, teens and adults to this day. Don't be afraid to make a statement and go old school with it. You may be surprised at how many people will praise you for it.

Nike Air Max 95

The Nike Air Max 95's have been around for a while now and are just now starting to resurface. Nike has now created lots of new color-ways for this shoe which has turned these shoes into a new favorite to a lot of people. So much so, that I believe that they are around to stay.

Any of the Jordan Retro's

I don't care what anyone says, retro Jordan's will always be in style. Retro's are sneakers in the same image of the shoes that Micheal Jordan was famous for wearing. A clean pair of retro Jordan's show one's stature and one's pride in his or her shoe game. All of the retro's from 1 to 23 are in style except the 15's, 16's, and 17's. I also haven't seen anyone wear the 18's for a while.

Nike Dunks

Nike Dunks have always been a favorite of skaters and sneakerheads alike. The huge variety of color-ways and designs have made this shoe a classic. This is probably one of the most popular shoes on this list. Nike Dunks are very similar in appearance to the Nike Air Force 1, featuring some slight differences.

Classic Adidas

I don't think there is anyone on God's green earth who doesn't know who Run DMC is, so I won't even bother explaining who they are. What I will say is that they created a absolute classic when they came out with the song, “My ADIDAS”. This song created an ongoing fad to wear classic shell-toed Adidas with no shoelaces and the tongues out. Although people finally decided that they needed their shoelaces and finally tucked that large tongue in, Classic Adidas are still worn to this day because the basic style and great color-way options.

I hope you enjoyed list of shoes that will never go out of style. If you have any more suggestions, feel free to comment. I look forward to hearing your opinions. “Dueces”

Yes Summerrose. Why not take pride in yourself? If something makes you feel better about yourself, then do it, right. But yes, being comfortable is also a very important factor and really is the most important but I think it's good to be a little materialistic sometimes don't you? Oh and Chucks are a very good choice. Thumbs up for your taste.

I agree with your top choices. Your shoes do say a lot about you When you become middle aged it is all about comfort now. With the exception of chucks I would wear any of these. Plus they are affordable. So there is no excuse not to be stylin at any age!

Well, I understand. I actually made this hub for my little brother. He's the biggest fan of my writing so far. But I really do appreciate you being the first to comment. I'll have to return the favor.

I guess I am of an age where I no longer need to look cool. Practicality has become the thing.
