With Trollbeads Fall 2012 Collection launching today (Friday August 25th), I am finally giving the reader an in depth look at the newest glass production beads in this Fall 2012 Collection with beautiful pictures as well of course.

Trollbeads Fall 2012 Glass Beads

The custom format for new release is two glass kits, which each consist of 6 new beads a piece. The Trollbeads Fall 2012 collection of course follows this format too. These beads are available as sets in the kits or as individual beads at the discretion of the retailer that sell them (though usually most seem more than eager to split the kits these days and sell them separately).

Fall Kit #1--Coral Kit

What would Fall be with out red or coral tones? Just think of the beautiful green leaves that change colors in the cool autumn air. Many of these leaves change to some shade of red if not orange or yellow too. But the prettiest autumn leaves, I have seen in the past have gorgeous red tones to them. So then it is only fitting that Trolllbeads first kit for the Fall 2012, be that of vibrant reds and coral, which are truly appropriate for this time of year or season.

Source

Fall Kit #2--Indigo Kit

Well what if the reds are just too vibrant for you? Then fear not, because Trollbeads second kit in this collection is much more subtle and will suit you just fine. This kit features more neutral tones and one will still be able to create a beautiful Fall Bracelet from these. These beads that comprise this kit are definitely more muted and have a more cool, yet crisp feel to them just like the fall air. I have to tell you some of the beads in this kit are absolutely amazing and will take your breath away, because they definitely have had this effect on me.

Fall Red/Coral Glass: Coral Wave

A romantic, sophisticated wave, like cloth gently caressing a dancer. Coral red dancing on an intense scarlet background.

A red sunset and the harvest moon are so very appropriate for the season of Fall. Yet, how do we end up with a red sunset one might ask? As the Sun begins to descend in the sky, its light passes through more of the atmosphere to reach us, scattering more of the blue and violet light, which thus allows the reds and yellows to pass straight through to your eyes without competing with the blue tones. Also, larger particles of dust, pollution, and water vapor in the atmosphere reflect and scatter more of the reds and yellows, sometimes making the whole western sky glow red. This glass bead truly does remind me of that autumn skyline and the beautiful colors that light up the sky at the time of dusk to create red/coral waves in the Autumn sky.

Source

Peach Bubbles

Air bubbles float effortlessly through red glass, creating this wonderful coral red Trollbead.

Trollbeads has done the bubble pattern before, but again this collection is truly for the Fall Season and here I am reminded of a pumpkin with tiny air bubbles on its surface. One of the reasons I do love this season is for pumpkin picking and since my girls were babies we have taken them to the local farm to select their own pumpkins. Pumpkins come in all shapes and sizes, as well as have so many wonderful imperfections on their surfaces. One such imperfection is what look like little pimples or bubbles that I have seen. These imperfections give the pumpkin character and charm. And these same bubbles or slight imperfections do the same for this glass charm. No too pumpkins are alike and no two glass peach bubbles beads are alike either. So you truly need to handle this one and select your own bead out personally just like with with choosing your own pumpkin. Happy Picking!!

Source

Peach Flowers

Delicate light flower beautifully in contrast to the deep scarlet background.

Autumn is a time for change and many living things will indeed change. Flowers petals that had bloomed and blossomed in the spring and summertime will now begin to change and eventually die in the winter before being reborn again in the next spring. That is how life and the seasons go. I am reminded of the old song by The Byrds, "Turn, Turn, Turn" here. For this glass charm has a beautiful flower bud on it that has undergone changes to become a beautiful coral color, much like the leaves that too have begun to change colors. So this again is another must charm for the Trollbeads Autumn bracelet.

Source

Peach Stripe

Scarlet and a coral red at play with one another.

Candy Corn is just one of the treats that can be sampled and eaten in the fall. Some are not particularly fond of this treat (like my husband), but I admit I have always loved and been partial to eating candy corn. So why I do I speak of this autumn favorite by many, because Trollbeads' Peach Stripe reminds me in so many ways of the candy corn that I ate as a child at this perfect time of the year. I see the stripes on this bead and also see the stripes that can be seen so beautifully on that perfect piece of candy corn. Again no two pieces of candy corn are the same and it is truly the same with two glass Peach Stripe beads for they too are not alike and are ever so slightly different from the next. Peach Stripe is yet another lovely addition to the Trollbeads Fall Collection this year.

Source

Scarlet Dillo

There is an old Indian prayer to the armadillo, which says “Protect my borders, teach me my shield, reflect my pain so I do not yield”.

Yummy candy apples that are coated in a lovely red sugar glass is yet another treat I do enjoy during the autumn season. Right now I am practically licking my lips thinking about this delectable food. I can tell you that I have gone to may a fair during this time of the year and eaten my fair share of them. Well, I saw the Scarlet Armadillo Bead from Trollbeads newest collection and my first thought was these yummy candy apples. I know you can't eat a bead that goes on a bracelet, but it sure does conjure up memories of this fall classic and for that reason alone is another sure winner for me.

Source

Scarlet Bud

Join the celebration of the historic German tradition of Oktoberfest.

Oktoberfest is a 16 day day festival that is held every year running in Germany every year from the end of September through the first week of October. It is truly one of the most famous festivals held during the beginning of autumn. Traditionally it has been largely centered around the beer that so famously originated from this region. Looking at this bead (even though I am not an avid beer drinker, because I don't love the taste) and not having lived in a hole have seen my fair share of beer drank by others, I am reminded of the bubbles that do seem to form in a glass of beer as it sits. So I guess it would be appropriate that Trollbeads has labeled the Scarlet Bud as one of the two beads that celebrate this grand tradition.

Source

Fall Indigo/Blue Glass: Cozy

So soft and comfortable. The little lamb gives you the wool to keep you warm and safe.

I have recently read another one of my Trollbeads friends write that this bead is one of her favorites, can see a great deal of variation, and that this will be a staple member of many with this glass bead. I couldn't agree more and think this is up there as a contender for one of my favorites of this collection. This one truly reminds me of a cool cloudy fall day, not a rainy day just a day that is crisp and a bit overcast. This is a day where anything is possible, like just sitting cozily at home with a light blanket on watching a movie drinking a hot glass of apple cider. For this reason and more, one just has to love the fall!!

Source

Traces

We all leave traces – poetic, humorous, tender or thoughtful. Who has impressed you?

Ok so if Cozy is a contender, I think Traces may very well be my favorite in this collection and will be needing to own this for my very own winter themed bracelet. The blues and golds on this one are exquisite and out of this world. It really does remind me of the solar system and specifically comets in the night sky. I have always been a bit of a day dreamer and this one fulfills that part of my existence very nicely. I can also see this one working very nicely right into the spring and summer bracelet collections next year too. Yet again a beautiful, versatile glass bead from this Fall collection.

Source

Blue Moonstone

With reflections that bring your thoughts to Moonstones. These dance on a bed of light blue.

Ok, so if Traces reminds me of comets in the night sky, this one simply reminds me of the moon and it's craters too. It also seems to compliment Traces and Cozy glass beads too so very nicely. I have to be honest and tell you these three beads are total must haves for me personally and just dying to build a a gold and blue bracelet from two of my purchases recently, so this collection is shaping up to to work nicely for that color scheme and will also probably leave me broke too!

Source

Flower of The Dawn

In the beginning of the twilight just before sunrise, these flowers fold out in all their beauty.

So here is another floral themed bead like that of the peach flowers bead in this collection. However this one has a blue/black tone to it and seems very reminiscent of the "Twilight" series and feels very at home to me on a Halloween/Fall themed bracelet, because it seems to remind me of other-world creatures like vampires, werewolves and fairies too. For those who are Twilight fans, as well as Trueblood fans, I believe this bead speaks volumes for you, as well as anyone who just loves this time of year.

Source

The Eye

Dive into the quiet and calm center while the world is moving faster and faster.

The Eye, honestly, reminds me of a hurricane, specifically the eye (which is the calmest and most peaceful part) of that storm. Because hurricanes occur in late summer/early fall this glass bead truly fits in perfectly with Trollbeads Fall collection. The blues and turquoises are so eerily pretty and definitely make it worthy of being a true contender in this collection for the true collector.

Source

Wave of Dreams

Join the celebration of the historic German tradition of Oktoberfest.

As a true optimist this bead reminds me of many a good and peaceful walk I have taken at the beach in the fall time. For some reason, I am indeed reminded of that quiet walk on the beach in the early fall time, when the water is still warm enough to dip your feet in and the air is still not too chilly to want to do just that. I love the beach and just because it is indeed Fall does not mean you cannot take a quick detour down to the shore. Ok granted I live about 15-20 minutes by car from the beach, but still I happen to love the beach in the summertime and still never quite want to give up the beach even though the summer is over. So this bead seems to fulfill that fall jaunt to the beach right here with the beautiful blue waves on clear glass. And it just happens to be the second out of the three Oktoberfest themed charms in this collection.

Source

Bavaria

Join the celebration of the historic German tradition of Oktoberfest.

The third Oktoberfest themed glass charm is aptly named after Bavaria, the city where this festival is held. The bead itself is designed to look like the actual Bavarian Flag. As I explained earlier this feast does occur in the fall/autumn season so this bead fits in perfectly with Trollbeads Fall Collection and is a stunner in the blue color tone that is so very key and central yet again to this collection. I think it is another one of my favorites too at this point!

Summing It Up...

Well I hope you have enjoyed reviewing these beads with me and know it has been my absolute pleasure to introduce the Trollbeads Fall Glass Collection 2012 here today. This truly has been such an exciting collection to discuss for me and please stay tuned for the next article that I will be writing about Trollbeads Fall Silver Collection 2012. Until then, Happy Trolling!!!

A table of contents? I don't think I've seen that before on anyone else's hubs. Nice touch Janine, and great job with this hub! You should be selling this stuff....or are you already?

Have a great weekend my friend!

Billy, now you sound like Kevin. He keeps telling me to look into working at one of these stores who sell these beads part-time, because I just love them and am kind of well addicted, lol!! but seriously, thank you and I started using a table of contents in one my other recent articles. I taught myself basic coding, which I have never really been good at to begin with to be able to include one in some of my longer articles.

Thank you so much again and hope you and Bev have a great weekend too!!

      Janine -

You've got to be going broke on these beads. Oh well, at least the kids have something to play with!

You're the only person I know involved with these. In fact, if you weren't writing about them, I'd be totally in the dark, where I reside most of the time anyway!

Great Presentation, Great Writing and Great Hub!

      Up & Awesome & Interesting!

Oh thank you Richard. I actually never even touched any of my checking or savings for the initial startup and any other beads I have bought since, because I initially have sold some of my old 14kt gold jewelry and old Coach pocketbooks too on Ebay. And as new things come out I have sold some of the stuff I end being fickle with and tired of on EBay and Facebook too. But I did get a good chuckle about my kids getting to play with them. My 21 month old daughter tells me, "It's my bracelet", lol!! But seriously, thank you so much for the comment and votes too!!

Glimmer Twin Fan, this collection is absolutely beautiful and I actually purchased two beads in the blue tones before these were announced and now am itching to buy a few of the blue ones especially Traces. Thank you and if you need any help locating a local store, please feel free to ask for help. I would be more than happy. Thank you again :)

I'm totally enamoured by these amazing designs and the sheer artistry that goes in them. I am equally charmed by your beautiful layout and descriptions of this collection. I can't help but admire the whole Trollbeads compendium. they really tickle my fancy. I'll definitely have to get my daughter into them- she'll love these! Beautiful hub, Janine! voted/tweeted.

Docmo, I thank you so much for your very kind and generous comment here. I do love the beads just because the color combinations are endless and just can't seem to get enough of them. As for your compliment on the layout of the article, I very much appreciate that and tried very hard to make it as graphically pleasing as I could. So I appreciate that greatly! If you need any help finding places locally, please let me know, because I know those over in the UK from my Facebook connections and can ask them where they shop locally. Thank you again :)

These troll beads are absolutely beautiful! I can see why you are so in love with them. I lead such a sheltered life: I never heard of them until I read your Hubs. Now, I see them advertised in Martha Stewart's magazine.

I voted this UP, and awesome.

You are so creative by adding a table of contents to your hubs. I think it's been a great idea and hopefully others will pick up on the idea. I'm not sure if others have already, but I've only seen it on your hubs.

Anyway, visiting your Trollbead hubs make me smile. I always know I'm in for a visual treat and you ever disappoint. No pressure! :) VUMS!

Mary, you don't lead a sheltered life, because I too had never heard of them until last year, but once I did I fell in love. I never realized they were advertised in Martha Stewart's Magazine, so you actually taught me something new today. Thank you seriously for the comment and votes too!

Linda, seriously thank you for always saying such kind words about my Trollbeads articles. I loved the concept of the Table of Contenets, when I first saw it, but admit it was not easy to first do it, because it is based on coding, which I a not very good at. So I worked on learning how to do it, but the good thing is now it is like the back of my hand when I do need to add it into a longer hub. That said, thank again so much for.all your continued support and kindness. I seriously cannot say that enough :)

This was so awesome! Your table of contents did work. I guess you were testing that coding until you got the knack. This hub is so full of colors and life. I wonder if you have in mind the "Trollbead New Year Collection?" You know what you are talking about. Some people are right. You might have to work on your own site. Great review! Voted for peach stripe. Take care my friend!

Joseph, I wish I did indeed have insight to the Winter Collection, but that is as guarded a secret with Trollbeads as they come, lol!! I hope to get a peek soon, but until then can only guess. Thank you so much for compliment on the layout of this article though and I really did test the table of contents out for hours one day until I figured it out. Now, I can go into the source website and pick out the info I need to set it up blindfolded!! Thank you again and love to her what everyone voted for, so thank you for sharing your choice with me :)

Rema, So happy to see you here and glad u liked this article on the Trollbeads latest collection. I went to see hem in person last night and they were all so pretty. What I love about Trollbeads is even when they production beads like these, you really have to see them in person, because there is always a bit of variation from production bead to the next one (like no 2 beads are alike). Thank you again for stopping by and for our continued support. Hope you are having a great weekend :)
