Recently just finished reviewing and getting to see the Trollbeads Fall Collection for this year, when lo and behold Trollbeads announced that they would indeed be rolling out a few select beads to commemorate Halloween this year. There are only three beads in this collection, but they are truly just outstanding and Trollbeads has done it again with another amazing collection of beads just in time for Halloween, which is now right around the corner.

I apparently am not the only only with this sentiment and have been hearing so much excitement out of others who adore and love Trollbeads too. But then again I happen to love the holiday of Halloween and these beads are added bonus for someone like me.

Sit back now, while I introduce you to these few beads that indeed are being released to indeed celebrate Halloween. By the way, this collection is indeed being released on this Friday, October 5th.

Silver Pumpkin

Every year, my husband and I go pumpkin picking and it is usually on Columbus Day, because he has the day off and so does the rest of the family. We started this tradition even before we had our kids. I have to be honest and tell you I look forward to it every year, because it truly is a fun fall family outing, where we not only get pick out our own pumpkins. The nursery (Hicks Nursery) where we go also has a show that they put on for kids and adults alike, with Otto the Ghost.

So when I first saw this silver bead of a pumpkin, I indeed thought of this annual family day trip we take and immediately was so very happy and reminded indeed of all the good times had there each and every year. And this pumpkin silver bead has a bat shaped opening for the mouth and also has this same feature on the rear of the bead. Very cute and spooky too fitting right in for this time of the year and Halloween holiday too!!

Silver Spider

The Spider is the other silver bead in this collection and it is definitely very intricate and another spooky addition for the Halloween collection. I heard someone else state that this looks as though it could be crawling up your neck if worn on a necklace or across your wrist if worn on a bracelet.

This one is not for someone like my Emma who hates all bugs and spiders included, but then again I saw this one and couldn't help but think of the scene in Home Alone with Macauley Culkin, where he placed his brother's escaped Tarantula Spider on the burglar, Marv's chest and he screamed like a girl, only to have yet more mayhem ensue from it!! Seriously, I know I watch too much TV and movies, but this is what I thought of when seeing this bead. Which brought back some great memories of watching this classic!!

Inner Glow--Glass Bead

So here is the only glass bead in the collection, but what an impressive glass bead it is. In the daylight it appears to be clear glass like others than came before it, but then this one lights up green to glow in the dark. I can't tell you enough how clever and ingenious this truly is on Trollbeads' part that I am truly very excited for this one.

I have to tell the reader that as a child I was so very scared of the dark and now it would seem that I have two little girls who also will not fall asleep at night without some form of light that we ended up buying the Cloud B Twilight Turtle for them. They truly love the green turtle that lights up and glows in the dark. So for some reason this is exactly what I was thinking of when I heard about this bead and am truly excited for this charm that can and will light up the dark night for all that own and wear it too!!

Summing It Up...

I am truly excited to have been able to introduce Trollbeads Halloween Collection for 2012 here today. Even though it is a smaller collection than they usually do release at one time, I for one am happy for this, because sometimes they just release too many at once to really be able to enjoy or for the consumer to buy at once.

This small collection offers the Trollbeads collector to be able to get the whole collection if preferred or still can just buy one of these beads. The choice is literally yours.

I am still not sure of a release date yet, but my assumption at this point is that it will be in the next few short weeks. Stay tuned for it and also for the next installment in my article series (most likely the preview of the winter collection). Enjoy and Happy Trolling as always!!!

Janine, 80 percent of Nepalese population are Hindus, and only 5 percent are Christians, which means, like majority of my countrymen, I know very little about Halloween. Thanks for sharing this interesting article.

Mary, I love how you said you you couldn't decide which one to vote, because you pretty much summed up my feelings about Trollbeads in general. Just when I think I love one of their beads I find yet another I love too. Thank you seriously for your kind words here and votes too!!

I couldn't vote in your survey because I couldn't decide which of the three I liked more! The pumpkin is delicately crafted, the spider so Halloween and the bead ingenious, like your hub. I like how you relate each Trollbead with incidents in your personal life.

      Voted up, useful, and interesting.

Thank you Christy, will admit that I too am not a spider fan, especially after my husband was bit by one and needed to get antibiotics to get over the reaction he got (it was a rash type allergy, but still not very pretty). But I get the connotation with spiders and Halloween. Thant said thank you for voting for the pumpkin and also the votes up and share too. Very much appreciated!!

Totally taken and sold out by your collection. I voted for Mr. Caulkin's spider bead. This series along with your pregnancy journeys are creating a niche for our favorite teacher. of course, I love your math hubs. I stopped a little on the science side, so I won't overlap with some of your ideas. Great collection for the end of the year Janine!

P.S. just check the first paragraphs dear friend. I did the same mistakes by no reading my hubs kind of loud. I just want you to improve that score, and will happen, I know as a veteran.
