Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2012

Updated on January 21, 2013

Wow! Personally I thought this show was one of these best compared to their others years. With live performances from Rihanna, Bruno Mars, and Justin Bieber. And of course as always, the $2.5 million Floral Fantasy Bra worn by Alessandra Ambrosio this year. There was 6 themes this year each with roughly 10-12 outfits each. I'll share my thoughts on each segments and as to which outfits were my favorite.

Circus

The show started with the theme of Circus with Adriana Lima as the ring leader. Her leader like attitude along with her piercing blue eyes made her perfect for the job. This theme was a very good opener it brought up something most of us are very familiar with, it being the circus. The outfit that stood out particularly to me in this segment is the tiger jumping through the ring of fire outfit worn by Joan Smalls.

Dangerous Liaisons

When I saw this, I thought the style somewhat represented the 18th century in some ways. The flourishes on the all of the models outfit gave it a very historical feel to it. The colours contrasted perfectly, with the light colours giving it a fluffy feel to it. Constance Jablonski outfit was stunning, the long flowing turquoise was gorgeous, absolutely my favorite for this segment.

Calendar Girls

This was probably the most brilliant and well thought out segment in the show. Given 12 months in a year, the theme changes every month giving them a wider range of costumes design to correspond with the theme of the month. And for that reason, this is definitely my favorite segment this year. The outfit that appealed to me would have to be February's Valentine's Day worn by Candice Swanepoel.

PINK

The segment PINK stays relatively the same throughout the years as it is intended for younger consumers. Personally even though it stays the same, it's always good to have a fun and flirty theme mixed in with the more "mature" themes. The robot suit worn by Journdan Dunn was very simple and that's exactly why it was very appealing.

Silver Screen Angels

This segment makes it feel like we're inside a movie theater. It gives off an aura of show business giving it a serious vibe, but also elegant. Not much to say about this segment, except to sit back and enjoy the movie (pun intended). With wings that curve upward and a long flowing tail that looks like a peacock, Lindsay Ellingson definitely had the best outfit here.

Angels in Bloom

This segments theme was obviously flower just because of all the flowers on the outfits and what not. It was a relaxing theme, the nature-like outfits gave a sense of tranquility that would otherwise not be present in a city. It's kinda like an "Escape to Nature" giving a very rejuvenating end. What's more is that this is the segment that Alessandra wore the $2.5 million bra. My favorite from this segment would be Karlie Kloss with red flowers growing from the vines.

Which segment was your favorite?
