Why I chose Jamberry Nails.

Updated on November 27, 2014

What is Jamberry Nails?

Jamberry Nails is nail wraps that are Vegan, Non-Toxic, Gluten-Free, not tested on animals and also are safe for the natural nail.

They take about 15 minutes to put on. All you need is the Jamberry heater or a Hair Dryer, the nail wrap sheet, a nail file and nail scissors.

They can be applied over the natural nail, nail polish and fake nails.

They last about 2-4 weeks depending on where you put them. 2 for fingers and 4 for toes.

Nail Polish

Nail Polish is so damaging for the nails. It usually isn't toxic but it harms the nails because it stops it from breathing. Nail Polishes also have that horrible smell that can stink up a room or house even with having proper ventilation.

Nail polish also last only about a day before it starts chipping. You pay 8$-9$ for a bottle that will expire before you finish it.

Nail Wraps

The nail wraps do not damage the natural nail since, even if they are non-porous, they breathe. They are also guaranteed to be non-toxic which is great for kids, pregnant women and women that are nursing.

There also isn't a bad scent that is associated with nail polish. They also don't necessarily need to be removed with nail polish remover, which also smells terrible, it can be removed with lemon juice, olive oil and simply by pulling them off.

They take a lot less time than nail polish since you throw out the drying time that is required with nail polish. All you need to do is heat it and then apply it.

They also make Jamberry Juniors which are nail wraps made especially for kids. They have colourful, more child-friendly designs.

Being an Independent Consultant

Being an Independent Consultant is not easy. You have to find your clientèle and you need to promote your product.

This product is easier to promote since they are on your nails and people can see them by simply getting a glimpse of your nails.

Also, you get an amazing discount when buying for yourself! So you get paid 30% commission + you get a discount when you shop for yourself of buy christmas/birthday presents!

Durability

I work with kids so I am constantly washing my hands (either with water and soap or hand sanitizer) and I am not always the most gentle with my hands since I play with the kids in the dirt.

When I get home, I love to bake cakes, cookies, etc. so my nails need to withstand the washing of the dishes afterwards.

I also go to school so when I type on a keyboard, my nails could get ruined but they do not.

My nails last 2 weeks and they do not chip since they are not nail polish. Nail polish chips within a day but with the nail wraps, which are protected by 2 plastic wraps.

I actually have a question about the nail polish that Jamberry sells. Does the nail polish have an odor?
