The Search for Dry Skin Products

Learn winning tips and products for dry skin to make it smooth as silk, It is possible to accomplish this feat, so make it a goal in life.. Nowadays, many people have skin problems caused by food, pollution, or sun damage. Rebecca De Mornay, an actress in her 50’s, has stated that she has very strange sensitive skin. If she puts anything on it, other than a particular product, it erupts into a rash. Skin can break out for unknown reasons. Sometimes it takes forever to find the right product, and then customers become upset when the company discontinues it. Then the hunt begins again. The worst of all skin problems may be skin that is so dry and flaky that the flakes end up on clothes. By trial and error and by word of mouth, customers find good products and hold on to them like gold. Women never want anyone to see them without makeup, so it is vital to them to find makeup that makes the face and body look dazzling to the observer. You will find tips in this article about finding the right products, makeup for dry skin, anti-aging products, recommended makeup by brand, and products to buy as recommended by author for dry skin.

Participate in home demonstrations, and read the recommendations in magazines and on the Internet. The search will let you find ingredients that will help dry skin, especially non-comedogenic products to prevent blockage of pores. You may learn a secret about the beauty industry. At the end of the journey, you will also find many great dry skin products and learn that you can have skin like a baby.

Major Beauty Companies

A surprising fact is that two major houses of beauty products exist - L’Oreal and Estee Lauder. L’Oreal owns all Ralph Lauren Fragrance, Keihls, Dermablend, Armani Fragrance and cosmetics, Lancôme, Maybelline, and Shu Uemura. Estee Lauder owns M.A.C., Donna Karan, Bobbi Brown, Aveda, Jo Malone, Clinique, Prescriptives, Origins, La Mer, Tom Ford Beauty and a host of other companies. The difference in the products is in the ingredients and the packaging. Ingredients are of the utmost importance when selecting a product.

Anti-Aging Products

Vitamins and natural oils are vital ingredients in products. In addition, antioxidants, such as retinol, prevent the break down of collagen in the skin. When the collagen breaks down, the skin loses its elasticity and causes wrinkles to develop. The addition of fragrance to skin products can cause sensitive skin to break down. Oatmeal in products is a pain -relieving ingredient, and causes skin to become soft. Protein or paraben is very nourishing to the skin. Anti-aging products contain acids as exfoliates and too harsh a product can cause skin to become drier. If this happens, be careful to use a milder anti-aging product that might be better for your skin. Humectants such as urea and glycerin are also good for your skin as they hydrate the areas between the skin layers. The types of makeup that you use are vital to dry skin success.

Beautiful Skin From Proper Makeup

Facial Makeup

These choices hold a high rank in importance to protect and nourish the skin. These are some of the winning tips that may work for you. When choosing foundation, a cream foundation is suitable for dry skin instead of a liquid. A non matte lipstick, a cream blush, a primer for eye shadow if using powder shadow, eyeliner instead of pencil, all make dry skin glow. Try dabbing powder foundation on sparingly, instead of using powder, to finish the look. Later, you might try a moisturizing mask ,by using a half avocado pureed. Rinse face with lukewarm water, apply the mask, leave on for fifteen minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry, .Avocado and avocado oil are very good for your skin. Other skin care methods complement the makeup basics and ingredients.

Eat Healthy for Skin Improvement

A point to remember is to eat wisely to keep the skin healthy. Drink water daily in an amount half your weight, eat fruits and vegetables, and avoid an excess amount of saturated fat, sugar and white flour wheat grains. When you take a shower, use warm water, remain for only 5-10 minutes, and then moisturize afterwards while the skin is still damp. Limit time in the sun, and use sunscreen,

Choices and Conclusion

Women often end up at one beauty counter, selecting dry skin products and use them until they stop working and then move on to others as the skin changes. As people age, skin needs often become different. There is no reason today that a woman cannot find the products that work. Those who have difficult skin problems may need to consult a dermatologist. Even the actress in the beginning of this story found the one product or company that worked for her. When you find your dry skin product, hold onto it. You don't need to spend a fortune, but go for it if you can afford it. You will learn that It is possible to have skin like a baby, well almost!

Below are some dry skin products I use. I have received many compliments on my skin. The creaminess sinks into your skin, making it look lustrous but natural. The day solution goes on the skin first and then the moisturizer, followed by foundation. These products keep the skin moist, even in the dryness of winter. Helpful products for protection are the eye and lip products. The eye cream helps with under eye circles by providing a shiny finish, disguising the circles.

It amazed me about the two companies, especially that a drugstore company owns a huge company like Lancome. That world is so unreal. Thank you for reading my hub aesta1 and hope you found other interesting facts. Makeup fascinates me, especially some brands. Good luck with your writing. Blessings, Audrey

Wow...I'm going to try a few of these products. I'm having an odd dry spell. My skin has been overly sensitive. I'll let you know which works for me. Usually the winter is when my skin dries but something is up with my diet so my skin has been dry. I try to eat a lot of berries, since they have antioxidants, and I also put vitamin E on my skin. That helps but this is really interesting and I'll be back to check out the products. I see a few that look like something I'd want to try. Thanks!!!
