What Travel Bag To Take Travelling

If all goes to plan, I will be of on my travels next year.

The big question that I need to answer is what travel backpack should I take travelling?

Now I am not looking to go from country to country and hostel to hostel on a daily basis.

Therefore I am not sure if it is absolutely necessary for me to buy a backpack that has to hold all my valuables.

There are two main choices. Should I take a travel backpack or should I take a travel bag with wheels.

Buying A Travel Bag With Wheels

The main benefit of taking this sort of luggage is the fact that you do not have to carry the weight of your stuff on your back.

You will have a lovely little handle that you can pull up out of the bag and simply pull it along at your leisure.

Another important factor that some people will definitely like is the fact that you will not look like a traveller.

A rucksack or backpack will usually label you as one of the many travelling masses.

Some of the stereotypes will include being the sort of person who doesn’t have much money, the money they have is spent getting drunk whatever country you are in and some may even believe that you are a stranger to soap or shower gel.

Some people do not want to be bundled in with this group for whatever reason.

If you choose a travel bag with wheels then you will look like someone who is simply on a weekend jaunt and or someone who is a little bit more mature. You will look like the sort of person who is off to spend their time is a really swanky hotel.

One other great advantage is that you can get travel bags or travel suitcases with wheels that will be accepted as hand luggage on airplanes.

This is great if you are looking to ensure that you are saving time and money on baggage handling and waiting for airplanes to offload everyone’s luggage.

There are some disadvantages to this sort of luggage. They will tend to weigh a bit more because of the extra wheel frame that has to be incorporated.

A wheel bag can also be a little bit cumbersome if you are faced with endless stairs either while travelling on public transportation or if you have to climb flights of stairs to get to your hostel or hotel room.

These are certainly things that need to be taken into account when looking to buy the right type of bag for your travels.
