Updated on May 12, 2014

YouTube Sensations

The internet is full of information and tutorials. For us girls, YouTube can answer our questions about both makeup, hair, nails and fashion. There are amateurs scattered throughout the website, but there are a select few who present extremely useful information in a way that can be enjoyed and understood.

These women have made a name for themselves among the YouTube community and continue to dedicate their time to helping other women succeed in beauty. This is information that you would have to pay for at a salon or through beauty school that is being offered for free. You should take advantage of the opportunity and follow these women to learn all the tips and tricks of the beauty world.

Luxy Hair

Luxy Hair has over 200 Videos of hair style tutorials. Most of them are aimed at younger women with long hair. Her tutorials include holiday hairstyles, celebrity inspired, classic and everyday. She also does product reviews and videos about Luxy Hair Extensions.

Some of my favorite hairstyles from her videos include:

  • Ponytail Rope Braid
  • Easy Messy Fishtail Braid
  • Easy Everyday Waves
  • Kim Kardashian Inspired Bohemian Hairstyle

From her YouTube account your can also choose to follow her on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest.

She has over 750,000 Subscribers, proving how amazing she really is!

I have incorporated the above look into my weekly makeup. I wear it out on the town, to lunch with the girls and on days when I just want to feel pretty.

Nicole Guerriero

Of all the hair tutorials I have watched, Nicole Guerriero is one of my favorites! She is the one that inspired me to dye my hair red, and I'm very thankful I did.

She is a beauty queen with great style! She does tutorials on hairstyles, makeup and nails. She also does product reviews, blogs, hair extension videos and fashion videos.

My list of her favorite videos include:

Pixiwoo is a channel by two sisters, Samanatha and Nic Chapman. They have more than 1.5 million subscribers and that number is contantly growing as they are uploading new, exciting tutorials. This vlogging duo recreates celebrity looks. They have done looks similar to Angelina Jolie, Adele, Blake Lively and many more. They also have basic tutorials for beginners, party looks, and Halloween costume makeup tutorials. One of the most intriguing things about their channel is a group of videos dedicated to makeup on other women's faces. They have a style for every age, look, and skin tone.

Some of their videos include:

  • How to Apply False Lashes
  • Katy Perry Make-up Tutorial and Signed Lash Giveaway
  • Smokey Make-up for Asian or Hooded Eyes

Tanya Burr

Tanya Burr currently has just under 300 videos. She is unique because she incorporates more than just makeup and hair into her videos. She has videos of baking and cooking tutorials, health videos, and fashion videos. Tanya has more than 2 million subscribers and over 100 million views. That many people can't be wrong! She has a great sense of humor, is very down to earth and is very talented at what she does. She also has a background in makeup, as she worked for Clinique.

Some of her videos include:

  • Smokey Purple Arab Inspired Makeup Tutorial
  • Drugstore Makeup & Fashion Haul
  • My Everyday Skincare Routine
  • My Everyday Makeup Tutorial (Winter Edition)

Check out all of her video collections. If you are in the mood to laugh, she can make you laugh. If you need fashion forward advice and tips, look her up. And last but not least, she knows that different people have different financial situations, and she makes beauty and fashion videos for uses of drugstore makeup and regular clothes.

Subscribe and Learn

I encourage you to subscribe to all of these channels for the best variety of information and a wide range of looks to choose from. However, if you don't want to subscribe to all of them, at least look through their videos and pick one or two that suit your needs and wants, and subscribe.

Again, this is free useful information that is plastered throughout the web for us to use. We might as well take advantage of it while we can before YouTube starts charging people for the videos they watch.
