Younique Mascara Review

Updated on March 7, 2015

Younique Mascara

Okay, so let's get into the review. First off I just want to say that this is my own personal opinion on this product. I am not a seller of this product, or in any way getting paid to put out a view for this item.

The Claims

Hi loves! I decide to do a review on the Younique fiber lashes because I have heard a lot of claims that this product creates lashes that are the same quality of false lashes. Also this product claims that you get fullness and volume, which for me is huge because I wear false lashes everyday. So if you would like to hear my opinion on this item stick around!

A couple details

I wanted to start this by telling you guys a couple things about this product. The first thing is the price, which is 29.95. Now anyone that buys drugstore makeup regularly is most likely dropping their jaws right now. If you buy drugstore mascara, then it normally costs around seven to eight dollars. If you buy high end mascara, then this is nothing new, most of them start at fifteen to thirty bucks. The fiber lash mascara also comes with two tubes, which you use both daily. One is the mascara and the other is the fibers. It is said that if you use this product daily that it will last you about three months. Any normal mascara that you use is also going to last you three months, even using it daily, so that wasn't anything too amazing to me.

The next thing I wanted to say about this product is how it is packaged. I actually really liked the packaging on this product. The two tubes come in a hard case that almost looks like a sunglass case. I think it is rather cute myself. Also the tubes are very durable tubes, which is also kind of nice.

The Review

I am a hardcore false lashes kind of girl. I love how they look, how dramatic they are. I just love everything about them, so when I heard of this product that claimed to be as good as false lashes without the hassle I was a little skeptical. I did a little research on the product and I noticed that most of the girls that used this product did not get false lash results. False lashes are flawless really and their pictures looked nothing like that.

I knew I couldn't base my opinion on others though, so I decided to try it out for myself. My first try I wasn't sold. My lashes did look better than normal but defiantly not like false lashes. So I tried it again and my second result looked a little better. With a little practice, I feel like this product could give good results. The fibers are a little messy but overall not that bad and if the happen to fall onto your cheeks they wipe off very easily.

Over all my opinion is this if you are in a hurry and are not used to applying false lashes this is a good option for you. If you are someone that wears false lashes daily and have a good experience putting them on then just stick to the false lashes. I do not use this product daily by any means maybe once a week or two weeks.

I will upload a couple pictures that you can look through and see the different results.

Without Fiber Lashes or False Lashes

So this is a picture of myself with just some everyday mascara. This is a very uncommon picture because I normally always have false lashes. I was doing a Snow White look in this photo though.

With Fiber Lashes

This is a picture with the fiber lashes and I have to say that it is better than just everyday mascara.
