Animal Print Fashion Trends

Updated on September 12, 2014

Animal Print Dresses, Shoes and Accessories

Leopard print is huge this Fall. We love animal print but this is the season for Leopard. From skirts, handbags, tops and shoes there are numerous choices for the fashion forward women. Not only is the clothing and shoes gorgeous but you can also find leopard print inspired makeup to go with your ensemble.

We've seen many of today's most popular celebrities wearing leopard print for their stroll down the red carpet. Notably Selena Gomez, Jessica Alba and Rachel Bilson are but a few of the stars that enjoy the leopard print this season.

The lengths for dresses have been stunning. Mostly the mini dresses have been the most popular with a scoop neck and sleeveless design. We have also seen wonderful leopard print tops, again in a sleeveless design. Skirts typically are knee length. Handbags are also popular. Wonderful red and black designs really standout for me.

Makeup that accentuates the leopard print style is quite popular. We are seeing color like the Jungle Eye palette from Dior that is quite lovely.

Accessories like leopard print bangles have been real popular to liven up a skinny jean or even work attire. Leopard print pumps are popular to add a pop to a skinny jean or leather skirt.

Tripp NYC Strapless Fitted Leopard Print Dress

This is a gorgeous strapless fitted dress from Tripp NYC. It features a bodice that is fitted for comfort, a beautiful neckline and has overall boning. It has a stretchy feel and is made of cotton. You will love this pencil skirt design. Women love the hour glass shape it provides.

I really love the look of a strapless dress for evening wear. This dress is edgy and really hot. It really needs no other embellishing. A pair of black strappy high heel sandals will be all the accessories you need with this eye-catching dress.

Sleeveless Leopard Print Top

This trendy leopard print top is a sleeveless design that will be perfect with a skinny jean or pencil skirt. It will add a wonderful pop of interest to either.

I enjoy this top with my favorite skinny jeans with a pair of black sky high strappy heels. Throw on a black leather jacket if it gets chilly and you will have a great ensemble that plenty of people will take notice of.

River Island Animal Print Peplum Skirt

The leopard print mini skirt is popular this season. The high-low skirt is also one of the must-haves for Fall as well. I prefer a stylish pencil skirt in a leopard print style. The pencil skirt can be accessorized to wear to work as well as to the after work bar.

This gorgeous skirt features a high fitted waist and peplum frill. You will love the easy stretch material which makes it comfortable for work or after work drinks. Add a low heel for work and amp up sex appeal and wear a sky high heel for after work dates.

Crossbody Convertible Bag

Crossbody Convertible Bag

I prefer a animal print crossbody bag in a bright color like this red leopard by Loeffler Randall. It's not like you will ever carry it with any otehr leopard print dress or shoes so you can be bold and bright with any other attire.

I like this convertible shoulder or crossbody bag. It has an adjustable strap with plenty of room from shoulder (12") to cross body drop (23"). It has a magnetic closure with a nice slip pocket and double compartment in the interior of the bag. It is stylish with plenty of room.

This makeup from Dior is amazing. It is the Jungle Eye Palette that will make applying your makeup to go with your leopard print inspired outfit a snap.

Animal Print Stilettos

Adding an animal print high heel pump or sandal to your daily attire can really bring your wardobe some style. Animal print shoes look amazing with pencil skirts and skinny jeans. They are perfect for spicing up the office wear as well as a fun night out on the town. I particularly love a leopard print with a black leather skirt. The ladies at the office have worn animal print shoes pretty much year round which shows how popular this shoe print is.

Are you embracing the animal print trend?

I love animal prints - they are so much fun. My favorite here is the Animal Print Peplum skirt. Very elegant and sexy at the same time.

Animal prints (and I think particularly Leopard) are stunning for the Fall. The warm brown colors complement the season so perfectly!
