Which decade to you believe had the best fashions, and Why?
I love the 20's. EVerything looked so vintage but so modern and clean. The dresses actually moved, and everything was so flattering! It isn't hard to see influences from that period even today.
1950s...pearls, curls, elegance. Love to see a store that sells fashion through the decades. It all comes back into style anyways. Right now the stores have the 70s colours.
Decade that was the best: 80's - all you have to say is - looking like Madonna....music was great to!!!!!!!!!!
I have to agree with the 1950s. Everyone was always so well-dressed. Women in hats and gloves. Men in suits with fedora's. There was also a great deal of diversity in clothing styles in the 1950s from young Marlon Brando types in cuffed jeans, white tees and leather jackets to figure hugging wiggle dresses to Christian Dior's New Look of 1955. (Tiny waist, huge full skirts).
the 40's,.... becausefashion didnt seem to matter as much for just a little while,... we were all in the same uniform and on the same team,... the 40's
I love the look of the 1920's; it was so sophisticated and elegant.
I liked the 60s for the fun details like crocheted trim, bead accents, bell-sleeves, and boots; however, I think the 50s had the best fashion in tailored clothes that accentuated the figure. I also love the casual sexy capris look of Laura Petri on the Dick Van Dyke Show. Accessories like hats, scarves, and gloves completed the 50s look. Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn style says it all.
I liked the fashions of the 80's and 90's. Everyone could dress like they had an electric personality and the 80's brought us bling jewelry which, while I personally don't wear bling, I can see how it would make you feel fabulous! And the feminine male pop stars like David Bowie and Boy George totally rocked!

Why do some people begrudge others even when they are doing their best?Sometimes I notice that there is a tendency to criticize people who are good at what they are doing. It seems to me that one has to be doing nothing to criticize and doing something to be criticized. Is this true?

Why do Christians get so bent out of shape when you tell them the bible is just a book? Many versions of this text are different, book order different, passages missing, especially ones referring to the so-called resurrection (not found in the older bibles.) The books are clearly written by...

I have been pondering lately the idea that God is energy. Now, of course God is energy. But, somehow lately I have begun to see this fact in a new way. I think all matter is a creation of God. So, why wouldn't I see God as an energy? Well, lately it seems there is a secret bit of God that is inside...
